LAPD placed a ginormous order for 1,250 units, and so did other agencies (though not as much). The UK said it wants to order 10,000 units but the order hasn't been placed yet. Once the hedge funds catch on, the stock should soar. DRYS has an offshore drilling rig in development and enough contracts to last them the next few years. Chinese bailout package will require a lot of steel, etc. - ergo more contracts. That, and the BDI (in essence, a bulk shipping index) is at its historic lows - the only way to go is up. Look at the charts a month ago - DRYS PPS went up 300%, and I got in at $3.80. :D Right now, the stock is in limbo - jumping from $10 to $13 and back. Should go up shortly, but if you're not into long-term, it'll make a good day (week?) trade. Shorting is fun, but it also helps to develop your circle of competence (as my former hero Buffett used to say) and follow some companies closely. But just look at the pattern, no clean movements, very choppy. A year ago this stock was $10, now it's $13, watch Tim's DVD it's a snore. Not the type of play for a pennystocker with a small account looking to grow. And not the type of play that warranted so many childish remarks from Mr. Steven. If I would have bought HSNI, I would have stated that. I didn’t play any stocks today, but as I said HSNI is on the short watch for next week.
