PennyStocking Silver subscribers and TIMalert subscribers know I write about shitty companies day in day out — companies that are valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars and they are either outright frauds like THIS piece of shit company, they use celebrities to look legit like THESE guys or they’re just plain incompetent (too many to list) and they know it so they sell out their souls to cash in by pumping and dumping their own stocks.

Frankly, it’s depressing….but obviously profitable as you can see from my trading track record

But what do all these scams say about the human race that so many of us would lie, cheat and steal all for a little fistful of dollars?

So please excuse my mushiness/excitement when I find a company that isn’t just doing great things, but is on such a righteous and amazing path that I can’t help but be inspired.

Obviously there are a ton of quality companies out there with people (stories like these great guys) and products that make me proud to be alive, but in my line of work — hell, this applies to everyone in the finance industry — I simply am not fortunate enough to come into contact with them very often.

So it’s my great pleasure to see how Elliott Bisnow & his Summit Series has grown into something truly special.

As subscribers of my 4 newsletters know I’ve been attending several conferences lately — everything from The Trader’s Expo in Las Vegas (I got booted for trying to expose the truly evil Oliver Velez, see my response to his cease & desist letter), The Money Show in Orlando (aka the misguided elderly conference aka why are you even thinking about longterm investing, go focus on what life you have left since you have like 3-5 years left you walking corpses! And no, contrary to your senile thoughts, free pens, markers and stickers do not matter, stop…go watch Away From Her and accept it all), The Affiliate Summit In Las Vegas (wow, they’re really promote anything, right?) and the Extreme Entrepreneur Retreat the past few days in Orlando, see article on Portfolio.com)

But nearly two years ago I attended The Summit Series in Aspen, Colorado and the conference organizer Elliott Bisnow even coming on LiveStock and met a bunch of cool entrepreneurs…it was a fun, if not hugely useful weekend, and I’ve kept in touch with several people I met there (which is rare for any conference)…I promised myself I’d attend another one of their events when I had time…

In the past two years, my business has grown a bit if not hugely as I’m earning roughly still $1 million/year with just my family as my core employees and I’m busier than ever while Bisnow’s Sumit Series has grown a staggering amount as he was profiled in Inc. Magazine, and Reuters did a nice piece too talking about how they’ve raised $2 million for charities and thrown infinitely bigger events with infinitely bigger people like Bill Clinton.

Since I’m down in FL anyway building Profitly 2.0, I’ll be attending the upcoming Summit At Sea in early April which I was looking forward to…but now that the attendee list was just released, I’m so friggin pumped…look at this list of people who I’ll be on a cruise ship with for a few days and see why.

All of which is why I couldn’t help but tweet: “DAMN I am so pumped for Bisnow & Co’s Summit At Sea #SASea Thiel, Branson, R.Simmons, T.Hseih, T Conrad, Ferriss, Gary.V, K. Rose, The Roots”

…and then I wrote this blog post despite having roughly 20 other posts I need to do that are more important for my own business.

So what’s all the fuss with this event & the rush to post this?

It’s called inspiration and Elliott Bisnow and his band of merry pirates have just inspired this hardcore cynic.
