Emisphere Technologies, Inc. (EMIS) tanked 64% as one of their drugs stunk publicly for the first time…I will not trade this stock now as the pattern is irrelevant, but do me a favor and NEVER believe any biotech under $10-15 is going to do well with their drugs, they are all lotto tickets, no matter how much research anyone claims to be able to do…pure junk…witness AspenBio Pharma, Inc. (APPY), VIVUS, Inc. (VVUS), Elan Corporation, plc (ELN), Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ARNA), etc.
BMP Sunstone Corp. (BJGP) spiked up to the 6.30s pretty nicely, making me glad I covered for only small gains at 6.09 the previous day…no matter how strong my conviction on any stock, when price action doesn’t go according to plan, I will get out to protect against bigger losses, welcome to successful trading 101….potential short still, but I will not touch the stock until the price action better complies with my thesis.
RANGER GOLD CORP (RNGC) is an STTN, SILA, BGBR-like old paid promoted stock that dropped 50%+ after the mailers came and went and now its trying for a revival, up from 60 cents to $1 in a few days, awesome, let’s root for it to surge more so I can short higher! Bigtime potential short
Omagine, Inc. (OMAG) is still spiking, up from 60 cents/share to 1.35 on pathetic volume, it’s a potential short given the chart pattern, just very difficult to find shares to short so I sit and watch
Gold American Mining Corp. (SILA) spiked up a few more cents per share on some very questionable price action, but I love this stock as it is promoted by some of the most unethical people in all of finance…watch the movie Boiler Room…I am short a few shares over the weekend, down $200ish, but I want to grow my position as this will inevitably collapse 50% or more once the hype is over.
DayStar Technologies Inc. (DSTI) got up to 2.88 on Friday, just 12 cents/share away form being shortable at Sogotrade…so annoying, but it does happen, no borrow, no cry. It actually bounced nicely form the low 2s into the market close to finish at 2.52, but this will likely drop 30-40% (fingers crossed for some hype-filled press release to cause further spikage!) this coming week so it’s just a question of finding shares to short
Isilon Systems, Inc. (ISLN) I hesitated and did not buy the obvious breakout at 16ish, and now near 18, I feel bad, but not too bad considering I made a solid video lesson for PennyStocking Silver subscribers, all of whom are up nicely if they followed the lesson (buy on the breakout past 16.75)…just the latest teenage-type earnings breakout DDRX, ISSI, APKT, CRUS, I identify them all even if I mess up buying most of them, this one can keep going, potential buy on dips, if there are any….congrats to the few dozen of you profiting nicely off this predictable pattern
VocalTec Communications Ltd. (VOCL) is one of the shadiest companies out there, but the price action is either manipulated or good looking as it keeps uptrending, this is a potential buy if it can keep up this action, definitely not a short, I’ll be watching…no doubt helped by a slyly announced share buyback program, well done hypesters, very well done!
