Emerson Radio Corp. (MSN) while we all busy with stubborn ZANE, this one broke down perrrrfectly, in fact only one TIMalert subscriber to my knowledge profited form this so good job YellowBuddha! Too many plays makes me forget these rather nice setups, my mistake.
OccuLogix, Inc. (TEAR) actually had positive fundaentals news so it finished up 23% in the mid $3s but a little off its short squeeze morning highs of $4…no play now, its consolidated, spiked, its all over the place, typical medical stock, no thanks…potential short eventually
Amarok Resources Inc. (AMOK) and Mesa Energy Holdings Inc. (MSEH) are both Jarret Wollstein promotional mailer plays…same guy as behind our favorites JYHW, NXTH, AENY and many more, he’s really turning into a superstar stock promoter and his mom must be so proud…all of these plays are potential shorts, nobody knows how long these runup, but their collapses are as inevitable
Zannett Inc. (ZANE) I wanted to have a big morning panic, but it simply wasn’t there…from the open, bids firmed at 2.65-2.75ish so I covered at 2.78ish…people who think I “caused” the morning spike don’t know what they’re talking about as the stock spike happened so fast, I didn’t even the IM alert to PennyStocking Silver subscribers until 2.90ish and along the way somebody had bought 200k shares taking out big sell blocks at 2.80, 283, 2.85…I’m talking blocks of 30,000 shares, biggggg buys…simple fact is this has been consolidating for 4 days now as while the company might stink and I think their $12 million in new revenue is ridiculous, earnings plays or earnings perception plays aren’t as easy to predict to drop big as promotional mailer stocks…I am now long 3k overnight from $3.10 as I gave it all day to drop, but it never once risked going negative on the day…as I wrote in my morning buy-to-cover alert, this became more of a buy than a short once it held support and the only reason I didn’t flip from short to long in the morning was because I don’t want to trade against subscribers…any true student of mine would NEVER have held all day long on a stock that has proven it can spike up hard as the price action made higher lows all afternoon long and those who did still hold short need to review my DVDs again…I like the afternoon spike, but it didn’t close as high as possible, which is my only cause for concern…if it does gap higher or morning spike again, it has a chance to run to 4+, but breaking above 3.50 will not be an easy task…if no gap up/morning spike then I’ll just cut my losses or small gains quickly and go back to thinking of this as a potential short…yup, I’m a trader, not a fundamental-based value investor…learn to trade both ways and you’ll risk much less and have much more potential profits…just think about how nervous short sellers are tonight now that there is solid support at 3, 2.90 and 2.80, barring unpredictable news, I like my odds and will do this trade over and over, always giving TIMalert subscribers the head’s up many hours in advance and my reasoning why I have switched sides…non-subscribers can moan on Twitter, but it’s their own fault for not subscribing and expecting to know my trades, tisk, tisk.
Americas Energy Company (AENY) I am still holding 10,000 shares short at $3.36ish, up roughly 10 cents/share or $1,000ish in profits, volume is fading huuuuge, chart is sideways price action galore, this could fall off a cliff so I am more than happy to hold my position, potentially adding to it if I can find more shares to short.
