SMC Recordings Inc. (SMCE) is the latest blatant pump & dump, up from $1 to 2 in one day…I hope these stock promoters can run this carcass up a few more days, but it’s gonna be a great short GVBP/EMGE-style, inevitable 50% decline and no I won’t buy in the meantime, high risk of it collapsing and/or getting halted by the SEC.
China Wind Systems Inc. (CHWY) surged from $4 to 4.50ish all because TheStreet.com wrote a favorable article…given how newsletter pump & dumps work, this will probly be a potential short in the next day or so…TheStreet.com rarely ever touched Bulletin Board stocks so this is sketchy…
Netlist Inc. (NLST) was the I one I coulda shoulda woulda bought overnight instead of LZB…nice second day runup, up 16% to over $6 by the end of the day…congrats to those TIMalert subscribers who profited, I missed it and now it’s too late to trade this either way…gotta wait for it to become a pattern with which I am comfortable.
ValueVision Media Inc. (VVTV) dropped from 4.50 to 3.90 within the first hour of trading, scaring all the weak hand longs, but it rebounded nicely all day…look at its 2-dy chart and learn that it’s not TIMalerts that causes such morning panics, that’s how these stocks trade! As it stands, this stock held support nicely this time so it’s a potential buy on dips, but not very exciting pattern now.
La-Z-Boy Incorporated (LZB) was just bad from the get go and I stupidly gave it 20 minutes to try to prove itself (did the same with COT although that stock held its breakout from the day before and then continued breaking out over the next few days for solid gains) and I didn’t sell until $9.80ish for a $1,500ish loss…that’s what happens when I go against my hardcore trading rules and try to wing it…good lesson learned…this is a failed breakout, potential buy still if it can have a catalyst and a real breakout on strong volume.
Relm Wireless Corp. (RWC) I shorted 15,000 at $3.89 for all the reasons in the alert and despite the last second tape painting by SCAMEX market makers, this has a good chance of testing today’s low of 3.59 and if it can break that and 3.50 (possible morning panic), I could get to cover in the low $3s…or it’ll just be boring like EONC and make me wait for a week, which I probly won’t have the patience for…chance of a slight squeeze too, but obviously my goal is to cover into the morning panic as the one analyst’s note gets read and people realize this stock is up on hot air.
Infinity Energy Resources Inc. (IFNY) did nothing going into tomorrow morning’s conference call…I’ll wait and see how people react to the call, potential buy or short going into the market close…could be a great buy if they hype it correctly and the stock breaks above $1.90-$2ish highs.
