VRMLQ 1330 ( overnight profit….2600 from previous day’s profit taking ) PLA (643) terrible short- don’t short into strength! NSLT 2648 amazing run NANO 327 Took a small loss early in the day then got in when it broke out to go positive on the day. SHLD (9.30) 52 week high that didn’t move fast enough for me. IMGG 205 Hard for me to believe in the run….so I was in and out very quick thus a small decent gain.

Nanometrics Incorporated (NANO) keeps rubbing it in that I missed buying the breakout at 9 and keeps rubbing it into other who didn’t hold…now up to 11.40…it could keep going as this is the perfect technical breakout…potential short eventually, but it needs to do some serious fading to interest me in that as this breakout is based on new contracts announced Thursday night too…potential short, but not into such strength.
Vermillion, Inc. (VRMLQ) continued its breakout above 22 to the low 23s, but volume was so light near the market open that I sold my 2,000 share sat 23ish, for 1.50/share profit…can’t risk being late if a breakout fails with illiquid Pink Sheet stocks, even if they might receive a takeover offer from DGX…solid $3,000 profit for me, still a potential buy, but only on strong volume like Thursday’s.
Kandi Technolgies Corp. (KNDI) tried to really breakout past $4, and then tried dropping down to $3.80 when the breakout failed…but it closed above 4 so it’s a slightly positive sign…if it can consolidate here and then breakout, it’s a potential buy…if it fails, it’s not a short because the pattern is still strong, make snese? Potential buy, but I probly will not trade it unless volume gets huge.
Zagg Inc(NDA) (ZAGG) dropped 10% on Friday after ugly earnings where they basically missed estimates by 25%+…most likely the beginnong of the end for these guys…the only good news is that the stock already dropped form $7 to $5.5 the day before earnings, so even the Titanic didn’t sink right away…definite potential short every day from here on out, especially if I have the patience to be a long-termer on this…things can start to get very ugly when a promoted piece of junk company starts missing on the only thing keeping them up…the chart should eventually mirror similar shady company PRXI, potential short always.
Netlist, Inc. (NLST) is obviously my top potential short tomorrow, it’s up from 1 to 4 in a few days, nice PREDICTABLE Friday afternoon short squeeze…scalps galore, but I’m not a scalper, not do I buy stocks so late in the runup…technically it’s a short right away, but I think we might get 1 or even 2 more days of spiking before it’s all over…gotta see how much risk I want to take on, potential short…oh and check out this article regarding their new product, as PennyStocking DVD students know, runups based on new “breakout” products can last longer than people think possible as these are not stock promoter pump and dumps.
Imaging3, Inc. (IMGG) continued squeezing the diehard short sellers from $1 all the way to 1.95 in 2 days, but fell to the mid-1s late Friday after a horrific quarterly report (Sec filing, but no press release…figures)…the report says 370+ million shares outstanding, an October filing said 430 million…shaddddy….even the most ineffective stock promoters Beacon Equity wrote a negative article, probly just so they can actually claim to be right for once! Potential short.
GC CHINA TURBINE (GCHT) is a pump and dump that dropped 50% a few days ago, from 4 to 2ish, but is right back near its highs…it’ll either be a breakout or a double-top, depending on how much money is left in the bank accounts of those promoting it…seriously, it’s a sick world…if anyone knows the promoters behind this one, ask them how much money this pump has left, I’m curious…probly a potential short, but can never be sure until volume fades, which it hasn’t yet.
Power Oil & Gas Inc. (PWOIF) and CLRH finally diverged with CLRH surging the prerequisite 10 cents/share as required daily by those manipulating…Cahrles Payne of FOX News is involved, see my blog post tomorrow morning, very sad. Both are potential shorts, but shares are extremely difficult to find, Payne is a powerful promoter.
Copernic Inc. (CNIC) surged from the low 2s to 3.79 on Friday on news of a “major” entrepreneur, john Simmonds, buying 500,000 shares at 4 and basically taking control of the board…company is just an itty bitty $8 million nanocap, potential buy given the new guy on board…he could easily make this a double if he does his usual magic or at least gets his friends and usual investors to believe he can turn it into something better than it is, potential buy.
Viking Systems, Inc. (VKNG) spiked from 30 to 60 cents/share on Friday…huuuuge recent winner for those who like to buy true penny stocks, this was a beautiful technical breakout on which several TIMalert subscribers profited, congrats to one Las Vegas seminar attendee who banked $2,000+…this could keep going, potential short only on perfect fading after more spiking…not gonna risk buying it now that it made it’s big move, ALFSS
eOn Communications Corporation (EONC) finally began cracking its sideways price action at 2.70ish…now down to 2.52, key support at 2.50, but if that goes, then the low 2s should be no problem…sometimes it takes a few days, but rarely do these misleading press release stocks hold their gains, potential short for sure
