This was sent to TIMalert subscribers at 9PM EST last night so they were prepared for the market day today:
TIM trading account—now stands at $82,528, no positions, no trades, this account is up 94% in 2009 and up 565% in the last 23 months
Longer Term Account $164,964, I made another $1,000 or so today selling YONG into early strength caused by a much pricier newsletter than mine (think 7x as much!) and covering my multi-day short on NPHC into stop loss selling mid-day, just 2 great trades, I’m on a hot streak, watch out!…account is up 19% since May 1st, 2009 inception…you can auto-trade this account by chatting with Covestor here
TIMalert subscribers and I baaaaanked just over $12,000 for the day, really proud of you guys, some subscribers are even beginning to feel comfortable enough with these patterns to trade entirely on their own!
Easy $2k profit on NPHC, keep it up T.

Zagg Inc. (ZAGG) ran into resistance at $6.50, as expected, there just isn’t any news to keep people interested for very long…ust a waiting game for Nasdaq, tbefore they said they’d hear in September, not sure what can cause the delay although if you remember, ZAGG did hire stock promoters so they’re not exactly 100% clean…just watching it for now.
Imaging3, Inc. (IMGG) and Nutra Pharma Corp. (NPHC) are the two companies that did financings at 90%+ discounts to their 70 cents/share prices…I shorted and covered both for a little under $1,500 in combined gains…no way did I have to cover NPHC at 59 cents/share today, but I like locking in gains, especially their CEO has ben rebuked by the FTC before (meaning he knows how to put out hype press releases)…I actually wouldn’t be surprised to see both of these fall 50%+ from here, but waiting for days/weeks for 20-30 cents/share isn’t my style at all…glad to be out of them and in total I made a few grand on them…more importantly, they served as perfect educational vehicles as to the kind of hype and crap penny stocks put out to lure in suckers…excited for the next ones, hope they’re over ! or $2 even like EMGE.
Pier 1 Imports, Inc. (PIR) has surged from the $3s to the $5s in 3 days, but the longterm chart is in solid breakout mode so while there was 50 cents/share to be made shorting into this morning’s spike to capture the afternoon fade, I wasn’t very interested, risk/reward wasn’t great…still watching it, but I doubt I’ll play it either way.
EMERGENT HEALTH CORP (EMGE) reopens tomorrow, last trade ws $1.85, my guess would be it reopens under $1/share…some TIMalert subscribers are still short, congrats on the patience guys, looks like you’ll be rewarded nicely. It’s gonna have to drop a lot though to match our $72,000+ in gains from that other pump & dump GVBP
Yongye International, Inc. (YONG) I got extremely lucky on…I was hesitant at buying it yesterday as the overall market did a meaningful reversal and s the market weakened at the open today, I was comforted by YONG’s early morning PR announcing a 40% quarter-over-quarter increase in their reseller network…nice…but even better was a $3,000/year newsletter mentioned it alongside RINO as a potential short squeeze play…which came out yesterday morning, explaining the $1/share morning spike…and today’s early buying was probly late comers buying off that report…RINO has the EXACT same kind of gap and crap today making this new explanation all but certain…overall trend newsletters like this one usually impact price for several days and considering this one’s cost, it was a bunch of rich guys jumping in….wow, I recognized the breakout, but got my reasoning all wrong, LOL…it happens…the good news is we were on the right side of this lucky coincidence, congrats to all TIMalert subscribers and Covestor auto-trade subscribers who really banked on this one. Turns out RINO or DEER would’ve been better % gainers, but those have already gone up a ton so they were/are riskier.
American Sierra Gold Corp (AMNP) is the #1 stock for TIMalert subscribers only!
Ocean Power Tech., Inc. (OPTT)… With the stock up 50% on the day in the low $8sand had my reasoning all typed out, but the stock just kept going up to the high $8s on strong volume so I backed away in fear of this thing going to double digits (it does have $5/cash and book value of $8)…and I missed out on the incredibly gradual drop to the $7.70s over the last hour…opportunity wasted, but some TIMalert subscribers weren’t so cowardly and took advantage of what I posted on the TIMalerts.com website just before 3pm…it’s definitely a potential short tomorrow…My reasoning: This stock is up 50% (now 65%) today on news of a collaborative agreement with Lockheed Martin (LMT) for wave energy…sexy idea except some very big problems: OPTT and LMT announced this same project back in January and the stock only jumped 15% before losing all its gains within a week…they even admit in the PR today this is a followup to the January 2009 announcement…and this old news came out premarket this morning, the stock only gapped from $5.32 to $5.50, meaning not many people thought it was a big deal…it only started spiking mid-day after the hot story wanting media like FT wrote article about the collaboration…I think this reverses all the way to the $6s from the $8s, but it is just the first up day so I’m only taking a small position in case there’s more to this than I’m seeing…otherwise I think this is day traders pushing this up and my goal is to make $1/share of downside in the next day as people realize what I just told you…plenty of shares to short too and this stock has a horrible track record of spiking then dropping, methinks it’ll play out like SPDE did a few weeks ago, but gotta be careful of a short squeeze since it’s early in the pattern
San West Inc (SNWT) is for TIMalert subscribers only!
