Penny Stocks Oh Penny Stocks: Here Are 14 Penny Stocks Which Created $3,000+ In TIMalert Subscriber Profits Last Friday & Are Still Good

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Mon 1st of Jun, 2009 12:30:29 PM

TIM trading account—now stands at $57,811 up $10,000ish aka 21% gain in May and 366% in the last 18 months

Longer Term Account $51,291, up $1,291 in May (started with $50,000 on May 1), no positions

Crazy day Friday, the CBOU breakout failed, but I was my super-scared-trader-self, selling for a nice $1,200 profit to finish up 21% for May…TIMalert subscriber results were mixed with the majority of people winning, $3,000+ in subscriber gains on Friday, the 1st testimonial you see below shows how it just takes a few nice wins to make $8,000+, aka focus on cutting losses quickly when your plays aren’t panning out perfectly…several others plays to watch today, could be a busy day!

I think some folks hone in only on your watch list, forgetting steady, consistent gains can be reaped by applying some of the most basic principles to your own picks and developing your own style. A perfect example of this occurred today with GROW. Just made $306 dollars on 1000 shares.

OGXI..shorted 500 @ $18.75…covered @ $15.78…. another $500 on the day approx
-Mark

CBOU I sold right at the market open Friday because while I wanted a big gap up or morning spike and when it was looking shaky despite the huuuge buy orders at $7…I made $1,200 or so but it appears several TIMalert subscribers weren’t prepared/disciplined enough to recognize that the strength was fleeting…if I’ve said it once, I’ve said 3748383 times–ALWAYS remember to trade penny stocks like a castrated choir boy…you’ll regret missing some big wins, but you’ll also live longer/happier by avoiding nasty losses…CBOU crapped out, closing below the breakout point at $6.50 and will probly crap out again today thanks to Barrons ripping on sector leader GMCR (see link below), no play here except a potential short (failed breakout on a stock whose story I wasn’t into in the first place, now there’s a bigtime negative catalyst for the entire sector)

GMCR, DDRX & CBOU should all be weak today, chart patterns don’t matter when a creepy guy like this writes an article and does THIS video over the weekend ripping on GMCR—this is why it’s sooo difficult to hold strong stocks, Wall Street usually finds ways to cut them down to size…this could be a major sell/sell short signal or just a temporary bug for these hot coffee plays, pun intended.

OCLS dropped 20% on Friday, huuuugely predictable after it cracked below key support at $4.50, only Sogotrade had shares to short though…congrats to those in it, this was just the first down day, I think we could get a panic or fade down to the $3 range, but after that, not sure how much downside there is….potential short still, but be careful of potential spikes

OXGN is a recent biotech winner to watch today, FDA news should be out any hour, potential big mover either way, I’ll wait for the news and then possibly try to ride the momentum, long or short, whichever way I see some trending

USCN is the pump & dump I’m still short 900 shares from 86 cents/share, now up 20 cents/share, zzzzzzzzz, it’s only a few million in marketcap, but supposedly over 5,000 shareholders (I found that figure the same way I explain in my TIMfundamentals instructional DVD package!)

OGXI dropped down to $17, price action and fundamentals backstory—which I’ve explained a few times—make the signals conflicting, no dice for me, next!

SMCG has surprisingly surged from the low to high $1s due to 2 factors: a.) They’re Indian based and that market is rocking b.) they paid $8,000 for THIS BS/fluff report that started the volume/price surge on March 17th…potential short, but I’d love for this piece of crap company to pay more high school kids (that’s what that report looks like) to gain attention…disgustingly beautiful manipulation from which we can profit—but patience is required because it’s not up enough and maybe this company will shell out more Rupees for a bigger pump (this is a Nasdaq stock but regulators are totally asleep) because all the dumb people buying don’t read disclaimers (they did spell out the word $8,000 to make it harder to find—smart high school kid manipulator! Mommy ain’t gonna be too proud when you go to jail you little Lebed wannabe scumbag!

ZIOP has risen from 50 cents/share to $1.50ish in May alone, positive drug news announced yesterday, we’ll see if the market like sit or not, potential buy or short

MAPP had its first down day and while it could be the beginning of a trend, I’m not shorting it because similar plays DNDN and VNDA—by which I based my buy at $8.76 on—have not downtrended, instead simply remaining choppy…but then again maybe the pattern has evolved, I don’t have any great odds long or short so I stay away.

KDE has one of the worst charts in stock market history—down from $90 to $1…these guys used to bank a decade ago with their Pokemon product…then they did what most penny stock do: fail…boring death spiral from $20 down to $1 the past 2 years, but on Friday, the stock surged 25% to $1.80, breaking out of a solid base in the low $1s…they got a license for WordWorld, which is apparently a popular PBS show that teaches kids to read by putting letters into pictures…could have some legs, the idea is simple enough to get gullible penny stock investors in and then maybe the momentum guys can get involved too…potential buy, could be the beginning of something, but volume has to get up, usually at 50,000 shares/day

UEC surged 30% to $2.50ish on Friday, it’s up from 50 cents/share in the last month or so, uranium hype, potential short when it fades, as it inevitably will.

SUMM is a promoted piece of crap up from 5 to 20 cents/share, too low for my taste, but fundamentally a great short…I’ll probly wait for higher prices to consider shorting though

Tim- I netted $170 this morning using your methods shorting FEED at $7.55, bought back at $7.10. Not the most conventional trade by your standards, but a profitable one none the less. It's amazing the amount of extra cash that I've earned in the past 2 months thanks to your Timalerts. Keep up the good work man.
