Too Much Work To Do, This Is My Girlfriend’s Call For Interns

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Mon 30th of Mar, 2009 08:15:01 AM

My girlfriend is now on Twitter (follow her!) and she’s got an urgent message for everyone:

Hey guys!

It’s Monday and there are tons of great set ups this week! I actually bought SPRD at $1.75 on Friday right before the close. They are trading at cash value, their book value is double the stock price, and they just won a major contract with Samsung. I am expecting on a morning spike and will probably exit my position within the first hour. I’ll let you know…

This will be my first post on my boyfriend’s website and the main reason is…Tim works too much! We are both workaholics, but also love to get away on occasion. So, we are looking to take on 3 interns to help with the daily operations on a part time basis.

You don’t have to be based in NY but must be able to come in every now and then, especially for an interview with moi! We are looking for someone who will work hard, has a positive attitude, and is interested in learning the stock market. You can be in school or graduated as long as your studies are related to finance.

Again, this is a part time position and you may be working on website related projects, stock research, or assisting with Tim’s show Livestock on Friday from 1-2 est. Zak is our current intern and he rocks!

Tim has a great team! Tim’s mom Joann takes care of shipping. If you have ever had any issues you have probably chatted with her, so next time give her a major THANK-YOU! Tim’s dad, Joel is Mr. Customer Service and won the Employee of the Month in February. Pallian is the amazing web designer as you probably know…and well, I give Tim lots and lots of loving! LOL

Yes, you will learn tons about trading and receive free TIMalerts (We’ll even upgrade you to Tim alerts premium when it is announced too!). I will also give you instructional DVD’s for your efforts. I’ve been an intern and know that it’s a great way to gain experience in your field and add some substance to your resume.

If you are interested please email me farinadaleela@aol.com with your resume, contact info, and a brief message describing and your incredible talents! I look forward to your responses.

Happy trading!
Daleela

  • Matt
    Hey Tim,

I'm a junior in high school and realize I would probably not qualify to be an intern, but if you would ever need some help or just an insight into how to market your strategies to a younger audience let me know! I think it would be really sweet to have a summer camp type of thing where you teach about your trading strategies and what not. So yea, let me know if I can do anything at a younger level to help you out.

I'm a senior in college as a finance and computer information systems double major....I'm already your link guy. I would love to intern. Only thing is, I live in Atlanta.

People should stick to what they do best. I volunteer to be an intern. But Tim, you should focus on finding the picks. I'll take care of your girl. You're obviously too busy to properly TCB at home.

Damn, Tim. If your products can help me find girls like her, I'm signing up today.

    Nice call on SPRD

    TIm,

A synthetic short can be created to have the same risk profile as a short stock position. Don't be scared this option tool is a great addition to your strategy and provides a workaround when your broker has no borrows.
  • LP i have never traded an option in my life, i have no idea how to create a synthetic short position be too scared to, check back n a few years after Phil Davis has taught me!
  • LP
    Tim,

When TOS does not have shares available to short but does have options traded, why not create a synthetic short stock position?

Hey Tim, i bought PennyStocking and TimRaw and i loved it!
TimRaw disc 1 sucks, sincerely, but the seminar is really great! I learned a lot and i made an expert advisor for metastock to detect supernovas, breakouts and breakdowns, but i'm facing some technical difficulties.
I am from Brazil, my uncle who lives in Florida bought your dvd for me.
Here we have a lot of supernovas, everyday, some carcass companies rising from R$0.10 to R$0.50 in one day, the sad thing is that is very difficult to find shares to short here.
Why you don't make an expert advisor for some software and don't waste your money with interns?
Thanks Tim, your dvd's are great!
  • daleela just sold her SPRD at $2.20 for a nice little 20% overnight gin into a horrific market, the girl's learnnnnning!
