8 Stocks I’m Stalking, Might Or Might Not Short Sell Some Of ‘Em

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Fri 5th of Sep, 2008 10:51:41 AM

This was sent out late last night to TIMalert subscribers and posted on the TIMalerts.com subscribers-only website:

Some decent, if not great, plays for today…gonna be tough for me, only gonna be around in the morn, then we’ve got LiveStock from 1-2PM EST (tune in HERE and ask me questions live!)

COIN/COINW I finally shorted perfectly at $6.20…as I alerted TIMalert subscribers near the market open yesterday….was kinda tough being away from the computer, checking its price on my cell, finally gave in to buy to cover at $5.70—easy, easy predictable drop since it took out yesterday’s low of $6…coulda woulda shoulda gotten $5.40 for a nice 75 cents/share, but I’ll take 50 cents/share any day, $700ish profit (detailed post coming)…especially considering I wasn’t in my usual setup….those shorting late at $5.60, I don’t know you…only the first down day so it should have a bit more downside, but WTF do you think it’s gonna go? It’s got plenty of support at $5 and $4.50…you guys are braver than me

IDMI Finally! The gradual runup finally cracked—ouch to the longs…if I hadn’t been traveling back form the TV studio, I might be short overnight as this is the first down day which often is followed by a morning panic.

CHCI is my #1 potential short today… really hope it keeps squeezing shorts, but it’s up waaaay too much for me not to get interested. Even if I don’t trade it, you’re damn sure I’m gonna reserve shares just in case.

NBS got a financing deal, stock up big, if it goes multi-day, I might short, but just not enough downside potential right now

TGIC is why I don’t look to short right away into any spike…die early shorties, die, up 50% on the day, beautiful, just beautiful

CRWG tanked nicely, oh well, really gotta learn to believe “in shorting spam stocks I trust”

SIGA Wow, just a perfect breakdown, full of morning panics and gradual downtrending, pathetic I missed it, glad many TIMalert subscribers got in
