URGENT: Tune into this FREE WEBINAR April 26th, 8pm EST, don’t miss it!
Hey, Tim Sykes here. It’s the weekend. I hope you’re having a good one. Working on lots of stuff. I’m trying to organize everything a little better. I’m sorry that we’ve been a little disorganized. You know, the past 10 years have been crazy. When I really began teaching all this stuff, you know, I didn’t expect the bull market to last this long. Usually, in bear markets, we have a little more time. In bull markets, there’s just so many plays, so many students, so much to try to keep up with every day. So, on the weekend, I like to try to catch up.
I am working on thisOrientation Guide right now, so if you are a student of mine, get excited. I’m trying to finish this today. Right now, it’s close to midnight here in Japan, but I’m all screwed up time-wise, so I’m just going to pull an all-nighter, which really is not an all-nighter, as bad as it sounds, because, you know, I’m up all night here and I sleep during the day. I’m like a vampire.
But, I’m going to try to finish this. This will be posted for youstudents in the next week. I think there’s going to be a little editing needed, but it’s going to be close to 10 hours of every single thing that I’ve learned. And it’s just, you know, a whole bunch of basic stuff, but then we get into some more stuff. And, you know, I’m trying to… Oh, there’s some quizzes, too. I’m trying to like summarize everything and put it in there. There’s a whole bunch of glossary and stuff like that. Anyways, I’m going to finish that.
Also, please, please, please, get this book called “The Complete Penny Stock Course.” Especially for those of you who are not students, who are not going to have access to this new organized guide, this new book is by my student, Jamil, and he’s organized a bunch of everything that I teach, and it’s fantastic. Thank you, guys, for your reviews. Please, keep them coming. You know, I want honest reviews, but I think this is a must, must, must read.
And then, also, we have this free webinar coming up in just a few days, if you want to kind of get up-to-date and organized with the weed sector, which is in play right now. So, right now, this is a whole theme. Oh, and by the way, we just launched a whole new… I’ll post the link to this webinar, if you haven’t already reserved your spot, just below this.
But, we also just updated Profit.ly, a brand-new website, trying to organize things better. I’m sorry, there’s a few bugs. We’re working on it. You know, my team and I are working non-stop, whether it’s on books, or guides, or websites. You know, no one has ever tried to categorize and teach everything in the penny stock market before. There’s a lot of stuff, and it’s very different from every other niche in finance. So, bear with us. We’re trying. We’re getting there.
And just have patience, you know, again, because the most successful students that I have, you know, it happens over the course of one, two, three, four years, not over one, two, three, four months like people want. It does take time to master a skill, but as somebody brought up on mywebinar the other day, you know, if you study to be like a CPA or a CFA, an accountant or financial advisor, you know, you’re studying roughly 1,000 hours, which is basically what, you know, if you watch all , video lessons, webinars, it’s roughly 1,000 hours.
In that game, you make a maximum, maximum like $100,000, $150,000 a year, and then, you know, you might be able to grow your earnings and your income like 5% or 10% per year, and, you know, maybe after five years, you’re making like $175,000, maybe $200,000. And that’s cool, but with trading, I mean, if you actually study this stuff, like literally, forget $150,000, like you can make more. I’m showing more examples. Obviously, you can also lose. You know, as a financial advisor, accountant, you can’t lose money.
So, there are risks, and most traders do lose because they’re not prepared. So, there’s upside and there’s downside, and I want to try to be realistic about it. You know, I have just a few millionaire students, and I have several dozen students who are earning six figures a year, but the sad thing is, the vast majority of my students don’t study all the video lessons. They don’t use the tools that my team and I work so hard on creating.
So, I guess, this video, I mean, it’s not very technical. I just want to go over a few different options because I’m getting a whole bunch of questions like, “What do I study first?” So, to sum that up, use Profit.ly. This is where all the video lessons and webinars are on, and, you know, we have this new layout. There’s going to be more new features coming.
Definitely, tune into this free webinar on the 26th because it’s 100% free. There’s going to be several hot pot stocks outlined in it. And, again, even if you don’t necessarily want to trade weed stocks, it’s still good to learn about, you know, the factors of what makes a hot sector because sectors go in and out of, you know, being really hot or being really cold. And, right now, the indicators are lining up to kind of create this hotness, this momentum for weed stocks. As we’ve seen in the past few days, several weed stocks are the best performers in the market. So, I’m excited for this. My bud, Doug, is giving this. He’s had some big gains in the past, and I’m excited to see, you know, his five new weed stock picks.
I know that a lot of people are going tojust because they want to short-sell the pot stocks, like if they spike too much. That’s fine, too. Unlike some other, you know, traders where everyone just wants to like follow their trades, I try to teach my students to think independently, to be self-sufficient. You know, many of my top students like to short-sell penny stocks, versus me, right now, I like to dip-buy. So, don’t feel bad if you like short-sell and you don’t dip-buy, or if you like to dip-buy and you don’t like to short-sell, or if you like to buy breakouts. We’re all different, okay. There’s not one specific time to do like the perfect penny stock trade, and there’s not one specific penny stock that’s in play right now.
You know, I’m looking at sectors, I’m looking at patterns. I prefer dip-buying. That’s just me. That’s the phase that I’m in, and it’s worked out very well for me in the past few months, in the past few years. But, don’t ever let anybody make you feel bad about whatever strategy you choose because we’re all different. But, it’s my honor and it’s my privilege to show you, you know, different sectors, different patterns, different strategies, different traders because this is a game where you kind of have to learn how all the pieces play and how they all interconnect.
You know, there’s a whole bunch of people that love buying weed stocks, and there’s a whole bunch of people who love shorting them if they spike too much. No one team is right versus wrong. You know, there’s enough volatility for everybody. You’re wrong if the stock goes against you, whether you’re long or short, and you just hold and you hope and you don’t cut your losses. That’s wrong. But, there’s so many opportunities, so many different angles, and that’s, frankly, why you need to read this book. You know, Jamil did a fantastic job just organizing all the patterns that I teach and really laying it out there.
You know, I’ve been teaching now, as I said, for 10-plus years. We’ve seen sectors and stocks go in and out of favor. So, it’s tough for me to try to say, “Okay, this is the pattern right now. This is the pattern.” Like, you kind of have to have, kind of, you know, an extensive knowledge of different patterns that have worked in the past, an extensive knowledge of different sectors and stocks because the same sectors heat up, the same stocks heat up again and again.
So, that’s why it’s key to really study the past. And I know that’s corny, I know it’s a lot of hard work, you just want hot stock picks, but every single one of my top students has really studied the past and respected what’s happened in the past, learned from it, and then capitalized on when those patterns, or when those stocks, or when those sectors fit the patterns again, when the trade kind of comes to us and it’s like, “Oh, I remember this happening a few months ago or a few years ago.”
So, that’s today’s lesson, and I’m just organizing everything. You’ve got the book, you’ve got a free webinar, you’ve got the new Profit.ly website, and soon you’ll have this Orientation Guide for you Challenge students. There’s so many freaking slides. I’ve got to get back to work. I’ve got to finish this thing. I’m so excited for you guys to get it. I think that, you know, teaching the basics and just organizing everything kind of in your head, if you want to take notes, that’s cool. I know some people like index cards. Some people have, you know, just notebooks full of notes. Some people just have like a Word document.
Whatever you want to do, but the more prepared you are, the more you think about strategy and the more you think about history, the better you will do in the future, okay. It’s not luck to have success in the stock market or in penny stocks. You know, the more you study, over the weekend, at night, the better prepared you are. The more prepared you are, the better your odds of success on every trade. The better your odds of success, the better profits you have over time. That’s it. You know, this is trickle-down profit-enomics.
I wish that it were easier for met to get it all out, but I’m trying my best, and I’m chopping up my strategy, and explaining in different patterns. You know, we’re going over this new framework with the 1 through 7 patterns, and it doesn’t always, you know, go perfectly. Sometimes, like you just have like 2, 3, 4, 5s. Sometimes, you just have 3, 4, 5s. So, there’s a whole bunch of examples.
I’ve got to get finished with this. Leave a comment if you’re studying on the weekend, if you’re studying at night, if I’m getting through to you. Let’s see who really gets it. Thank you, guys. I’ll see you in the chat room tomorrow.
