Season Two Of the Steady Trade Podcast
Happy New Year! The stock market is closed today for New Year’s Day so take the day to study and prepare for the coming week….definitely take advantage of this blowout holiday sale that’s ending TONIGHT and save big on study guides that can and will change your life.
Also, I’m so proud of the team behind my favorite stock market podcast, SteadyTrade, which you should definitely listen to ASAP!
If you want to be a profitable trader, it’s important to constantly be working to increase your knowledge base and you need to learn and re-learn the basics of trading over and over until they are like second nature to you. After all, market trends will come and go, but if you have a strong foundation in your process and strategy, then you’ll be able to adapt with the market no matter if it’s Bitcoin or shipping or medical marijuana stocks that are in play….this is the not-so-secret way to become long-term trader with sustainable success.
As such, it’s important to learn all that you can about trading, and from as many different sources as you can. Joining the Tim Sykes Million Challenge is a great big step in the right direction, but you need to expand your repertoire. The Steady Trade Podcast is a new resource that gives you a lot of informational bang for your buck. The first season recently came to a close, so there is a library of six episodes to binge-listen to and enjoy. I’m happy to say that I have the inside scoop on what’s going on during season two of the Steady Trade Podcast, and am going to share it here!
The Steady Trade Podcast: a necessary resource for traders.
The Steady Trade Podcast offers an incredible resource that can teach you the basics and offer actionable ways to use your newfound knowledge. Simply put, this podcast can help you go from wanting to trade to actually doing it, and doing it well. It’s a resource that I suggest not only to the members of the Tim Sykes Million Challenge Team, but to anyone who is thinking about a career in trading.
Honestly, I also recommend this podcast for established traders, too. The unique delivery of valuable information and knowledge is accessible to new traders, but it can help those who are more experienced become better traders.
What makes the Steady Trade Podcast so special?
In a past post, I detailed some of the many benefits of adding this podcast to your regular listening routine. Hopefully you’ve listened to all of the episodes so far.
There are a number of things that make the Steady Trade Podcast a little different from every other trading podcast out there. But to name a few:
- Differing points of view. The hosts, Tim Bohen and Stephen Johnson, are at very different points in their trading careers. Tim is an established trader and the founder of Stocks to Trade; Stephen is a relatively “green” trader, with only about a year of experience. However, they are both dedicated to trading. When presenting topics together, they can bring very different viewpoints to trading that make it accessible to new traders yet aspirational to existing traders. They also introduce other trader stories into the podcast; they’ve featured an interview with me and Larry King, among other trader success stories.
- A sense of humor. Who says that trading has to be serious all the time? Tim and Stephen are undoubtedly funny together. This makes it enjoyable to learn, and personally, I find that you retain the information a lot better when it’s delivered with a good sense of humor.
- Great information. The podcast delivers fantastic information in a way that is a lot more user-friendly than a lot of podcasts. They don’t assume any level of knowledge, and yet they don’t dumb things down. They present simple concepts and build upon them so that you really feel as if you learn something important in each episode. Each episode builds on the next, so by the end of the first season, you’ll have learned a lot.
Season Two of the Steady Trade Podcast
Curious about what’s happening during season two? Here’s a brief overview of what has been covered in the second season:
Episode 1: Who Was Jesse Livermore? Going back in history, Tim and Stephen will explore the life and work of trading pioneer Jesse Livermore. History repeats itself enough that we can all learn a lot from traders of the past!
Episodes 2 and 3: Interview with Super Trader Roland Wolf. In this episode, Tim and Stephen will interview an up and coming trader and reveal secrets to trading success.
Episode 4: The Strange Truth About Pump and Dumps. In this episode, Tim and Stephen will expose “pump and dump” scenarios and tell you all you need to know about them.
Episode 5: Super Trader Stephen Dux. In this episode, Tim and Stephen interview another trader who has enjoyed stratospheric growth, phenom Stephen Dux.
Episode 6: 10 Commandments to Keep it Steady. The name of the podcast is the Steady Trade Podcast, not the “get rich quick” podcast. This episode will reveal how you can keep it steady and eventually win the trading race!
Don’t forget the prizes.
