The combo effect of my now 104% return over the past 9 months (see all trades HERE) and a ridiculous amount of self-promotion/blogging/emailing/effort has gotten more than a few newbies involved in this wonderful sport.

Be warned:

These stocks are not for sissy value investors.

They move quickly.

They are heavily manipulated.

They are heavily hyped.

You must be ready for that kind of volatility.

You must understand the people playing here are the scum of the earth.

Even scummier. More soulless than the rest of Wall Street.

The best way to prepare is by learning from someone who’s been around for a while. And survived.

Someone who’s willing to share the good, the bad, the ugly and everything in between.

So, do me a favor and just suck up the $300 for my PennyStocking DVD package.

It’ll help reduce the number of bias questions I get.

It’ll calm my nerves from having to repeatedly answer such inane beginner questions.

It’ll save you thousands, if not tens or hundreds, of thousands of dollars in stupid mistakes.

For it is simply the guide I wish I had when I first started.

It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme.

It simply teaches all my greatest lessons, good trades, bad trades, good experiences, bad ones, successes, failures, etc…

So I beg you, please get it.

For me.

For you.

Before you make some big mistake and blame me/ PennyStocking when it’s really your own fault for being so cheap/lazy.

  1. gets a little slow around here when people know ol’ timmay is likely not watching.

  2. More that the trading content of posts is not there.

  3. this site is going downhill fast

  4. over 90 posts on timalerts though.

  5. Isn’t RHD a cup and handle Breakout???

Bought 1000 shares at 2.64 when it cut like butter the 2.61 resistance, then grab another k at 2.75, saw it goin without rest to its 2.84 high. THen hell it pulled back but never crossed the 2.61 support (would have dumped it then).

It looked so real since it accelerated like hell when it crossed resistance. SOld 1700 shares at 2.72 and 2.70 almost breaking even, holding 300 shy shares expecting continuation of the cup and handle, but I didn’t feel like holding the whole bag for the weekend.

  6. WHY TIM MAKES MONEY AND I DON

  7. interesting stock RHD

Form some crap posts I don’t trust it looks like it trades with IAR. and some crap about google buying and also going under who knows.

Again I am new what can I do to help the cause?

    Hi Getshorty:

Thanks for sharing. It sounds to me like you are thinking like a trader and not a newbie. Hell at least you are thinking which puts you out in front 98% of the herd. So don’t beat yourself up. Besides in this choppy market you are not going to be right 100% of the time.

The key is to find a system (like Timmay) and work the system. All those get rich quick systems out there are lies plain and simple. Tim has demonstrated success. That is why I did suck it up and get the DVD and the Alerts.

The book really is good. What Tim writes about discipline and ego trading should be summarized on a sticky note and posted to your monitor - DO NOT EGO TRADE - THE MARKET OWES ME NOTHING!

Relax, make good money management decisions and stay in the game. You will be successful.

  10. exactly, let this site die, TIMalerts is where the action’s at…and there’s no great trades right now anyway! people trying to scalp RHd, MITI, who cares i f they’re right, lots of small gains, lots of small losses, not what i preach at all…wait for perfect setups, there arent any right now

  11. Not so fast Tim, remember that this is the post that gets the subscribers in the first place.

  12. I’ll start being i cash all the time and play only the perfect set ups, I may as well give it a try. THe scalps are not worth the stress, nor the commissions.

Will have my wathclist with timmays alerts from previous days + the news + similar plays spotted on stockfetcher.

I will make money I WILL MAKE MONEY FOR ME NOT THOUSANDS IN COMMISSIONS FOR BROKERS (since started following timmay I am even AFTER commissions of between $2500 - $3000)

    GGGRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

will keep notes on the side of how my technical plays workout, like a diary of What would I have made if I had to manage big money, which is my career by the way, but all you get formally schooled is on maximize expected return given an accepted level of risk, this based in previous correlations of stock prices, not allowing for momentum analysis.

Like Sweeney said, I’ll suck up the losses as a tuition $38 k for the MBA $3-$4k for the CFA, $5k - $10k for the practical momentum swing class. However, I don’t wanna overpay.

  13. Tim, so, when you arriving to Vancouver?
I need you to re-autograph my book!!!
And if you got a couple of hours I can show you around, Vancouver has awesome views (also great restaurant but the most I have spent is $ 150 a meal, as a Full time student - trader wanna be I anin’t in the $500 meal league nor the Japan trip league), MOre on the corner sushi all inclusive $2000 to cancun trip league, that will change).

Looking forward to meet you here.

  14. Tim, I’ve got a year membership, but the TimAlerts page won’t let me log on…

  15. Shorty, I had that same revelation today… started my own blog about my trading/mistakes. Pumaspicks over on blogspot.

  16. only will be in vancouver for an hour or so, sorry

  17. Achoo, oh hai there, Im just partially allergic to shameless self promotion……. Get his dvd though, it must be good or he would have coffed it up with his book (wich was teh awsome) when he was giving me secrets to obtaining his jew gold….. jk

  18. You can call this self promotion all you want (because it is)… but hell, if this was my DVD I would self promote it.

I don’t care if you have never traded a stock in your life or if you are a seasoned trader. There is nothing mainstream about the Pennystocking DVD…

I had read a whole boat load of books on trading before I purchased it… at first glance I was disappointed… I thought Tim overly simplified trading and left out many variables…

Turns out that his simplified and direct approach to what this market is all about… totally 360′d my perception of trading… my losses have impressively decreased, and my confidence has impressively increased…

I tell everyone I know… out of all the hours I’ve spent reading books and message boards… the DVD was the best investment of all… it turns $300 into many of thousands…

It’s easily the best trading product online and TimAlerts only enhances the experience. I’ll endorse these to anyone.

  19. Ill put it to you this way,

Im pulling up to the highest levels ever after getting margin, im going to be back on the covestor list tracking him down by months end, (and god only knows, when my “after i got margin” account goes to the leaderboard on the 15th (because its only fair if i compete with all these people who have margin with a margin account (its not easy to guess 3 days ahead in this market and it cost me nearly 70% in one trade(whiping out a lehman trade i did earlier in the year along with a 20 point gain) My point is this, Tim is talented, i agree that noobs should buy his dvd, and im even personally thinking of subscribing to tim alerts, but unless you are willing to put in the concentration on a daily basis, stay the f- out of the market atm, or you are going to get crushed.

  20. Hey Sweeney - I think you will like the new post - http://www.timothysykes.com/ti.....-few-days/
