How To Spend Trading/Blogging Profits: My 7-Day $11,000 Trip To Japan

Posted by timothysykes on Tue 19th of Aug, 2008 03:24:28 PM

By now you guys know that I’m a workaholic who’s been steadily growing his biz so I can proudly say this blog made $45k last month (see detailed breakdown HERE)…and as I’ve been preparing you guys for the last few weeks, I’m taking a trip–business vacation as I’m gonna get some good content to write for AOL Blogging Stocks, this site (and wheoever else wants anything from me!)–with my girlfriend to Japan August 20-September 1st.

I’ll still be doing TIMalerts each and every day, don’t you worry, I’m an addict, but please don’t email me questions – actually only if they’re about TIMalerts or my PennyStocking DVD (biz first!) – cuz it’s gonna be hard enough trying to manage my vacation/trading while working with a 14 hour time difference.
So I thought you’d like to know exactly what I’m doing—I’m bringing my newly acquired bad ass Flip Video (check out this beauty HERE) so we’ll have clips galore–but for now here’s my itinerary, basically wannabe-FU money, $11,000 blown in 7 days on extravagant hotels, meals and cool destinations….Jewww yeahhhhhh!

If you’re gonna work hard, you gotta enjoy the rewards:

Aug 20-21: $4,000ish Air Canada 2 people, 3 flight segments, only took a few days worth of research to find the Jewiest combo deal for 2 people, gotta go cheap on the 17 hour flight, aka no biz class, save $10k+, just gonna be full of Nyquil anyway

Aug 21-23: $500/night=$1,000 2 Nights at the Tokyo Ritz Carlton, 50th Floor, awesome views of the city, right in Roppongi aka the Rodeo Drive-like nice area, all around pimpest hotel chain, not just BS Trump-esque glitter either, these guys always come through, if all my readers weren’t so poor, I’d look to get sponsored by them in a heartbeat, as the spoiled Jew I am, I always look to book there. You hear me Ritz peeps! Look at that pool:

Dinners: Sukiyabashi Jiro & Ryugin, $300 per person per night, $1,200 total, screw it, arguably the top sushi restaurant in Toyko—Michelin thinks so, 3 stars—and the Japanese Alinea/WD-50 with sake tasting, respectively, can’t friggin wait

    What an eyefull!

  7. Well, I would tell you to not take your girlfriend on a trip like this to start out a relationship because she’s going to always expect this kind of treatment. Except the fact that the way you are making money, I’m pretty sure you could one-up this trip every time you guys went somewhere if you really wanted. Well done, nice destination choice.

  8. “Jewiest combo ”
As in Jews are cheap ?

    That’s an antisemitic comment ……

  9. Hes jewish, hes also an idiot, but hes jewish,

the good news is he will be out of the country for 10 days, so his soho neighbors will finally get some sleep, (he plays wierd al yankovic 24/7)

  14. Very nice. Can’t wait to see some pics in a few weeks.

  15. TIMMAY!! yo advice for tokyo..I was there last summer…Go to Original Fake, it’s a store in Aoyama close to the crazy looking prada store. Original Fake is a legend in tokyo and his shit is awesome…If you wanna bring me back anything from there ill subscribe to your alerts for a yr. Womb in Shibuya is a pretty crazy club too. Also throw some trash on the ground their its waaaaay to clean.

  16. Tim you going to check out any massage parlors in Tokyo? I hear they are really nice!

  17. I was a Tim fan until I read about his criminal past. No wonder he hates Wall Street, banks, and everything else in the financial industry. He got caught trying to rob them! Check this out everyone: http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/.....o=02a0199p

“BOGGS, Circuit Judge. Federal prisoner Timothy Sykes challenges his sentence, based on Apprendi v. New Jersey, 530 U.S. 466 (2000). He also claims that there was insufficient evidence to support the district court’s finding that he used a semi-automatic assault weapon in conducting the bank robbery, and that the district court erred in applying several sentencing enhancements. We affirm Sykes’s conviction and sentence.”

  18. beach bum WTF are you talking about? i’ve never been arrested in my life, what time do i have, i’ve been trading since high school? if u had any $, i’d sue for defamation, as it is, i’ll just keep your postup to show what a moron u are

  19. 19

CA Beach bum I used to like you but now you’re just a loser. Tim go enjoy your trip while this loser beach bum sits in his basement and hates on you.

  20. You both are losers without any sense of humor. That’s funny shit imagining Sykes holding up a bank in Nashville with an automatic assault rifle!

Oh, my mom needs to clean the basement now, so I’ve gotta get off the computer.

  21. ” used a semi-automatic assault weapon in conducting the bank robbery”

Sooooo, that’s how he turned $12k in to 1.65 million!!!

    haha

  22. its good to hear some Jew brothers making the trip to Japan. Met my wife there in 87. Inakaya was memorable.

  23. haha that was the best read ever, thanks beachbum. ” Timothy Sykes and three accomplices…”

  24. Good to see that some people have a sense of humor on this blog. What about you, Sykes? Ready to lighten up and laugh a bit? Embrace your criminal past and help us learn to shoot an automatic assault rifle in between your lessons on shorting pump and dump scams.

  25. I would think Tim was way cooler if that was true.

  26. You probably have more Japanese followers simply because there are fewer believers in the 12% annual market returns myth there. Especially any Japanese investors during the 1990-2003 time frame when the market dropped 80% oops (oh and don’t talk about a bottom in housing to them either because they will probably laugh).

  27. Tim says

“tried to short POGS, didnt get executed, you hyenas got there before me, congrats on your 20% gain in 30 minutes whoever u are”

POGS was up here for the hyenas about 14 hours before your alert:

    http://darksidetrading.blogspot.com/

“POGS a running one now. I know it was pumped before, still light vol but I like those for gradual longer term fades”

Hyenias did get the borrows,I sure did.

  28. I’m a huge Beatles fan, and there’s a bar in Roppongi called The Cavern, a replica of the original Cavern Club in Liverpool, where the Beatles use to play before they became big. They have a Japanese Beatles cover band. Wife and I went two years ago, we had a blast. Roppongi rules! We stayed at the New Sanno Hotel (for US Government employees), an equivelant four star hotel, for $60 a night, that’s a steal! One subway stop from the bars in Roppongi! I’d go back in a heartbeat.

  29. japanese jews…

  30. thanks mike, saw POGS yesterday too, but unlike u i dont have a chatroom, i only have once/day updates…boo fucken hoo, it was good shot this morning, glad timalert subscribers banked

  31. Nice trip its going to rock. If you have time in Kyoto, goto the top of the train station. There is an amazing view of the city up there and a rooftop garden.

  32. “thanks mike, saw POGS yesterday too, but unlike u i dont have a chatroom, i only have once/day updates

  33. Im sorry, i just read the above post, it would be so funny as a joke about how tim really made his money, or at least a good mock video

“Timothy Sykes and three accomplices robbed the SunTrust Bank in Nashville, Tennessee on July 3, 1997. During the robbery, Sykes brandished an assault weapon. Sykes did not fire; he pointed the weapon at bank customers and robbed them, while his accomplices robbed the bank proper. A video surveillance camera photographed Sykes using the weapon. From the photographs, it was impossible to tell whether the gun had full automatic fire capability or semi-automatic single-shot capability. The robbers left the bank with over $28,000 in cash. The robbers got into a stolen car, which they then abandoned for two getaway cars, one of which was Sykes’s Cadillac. They drove to Sykes’s house, where they divided the loot into increments of roughly $12,000 after expenses. “

  34. Man…. this looks totally awesome. Looks like I will have to invest into TimAlerts.

  35. HEY TIM! KEEP ON “ROBBIN” THE “BANK” MAN! haha.

Or in other words, keep knocking down the consistent profits on the penny stocks dude. Glad to see you break the 100% mark…keep it coming!

Enjoy your vacation bro, good to see you have the money to spend. I’ll be vacationing to Jamaica for a very cheap getaway this fall!

  36. Wait a sec. Your GF is Japanese? or is it just some wedding deal in Japan?

  37. No - she is not japanese.. they are going to Vancouver for the wedding… Japan is just a little detour.

  38. Oh god, she’s… CANADIAN? That’s even worse :D

  39. confucius (or my drinking buddy or somebody ) say… a fool and his money will soon part… May I see a pic of ur gf to determine???

  40. 40

Take a look at GOCH.ob they are better than geek squad and they also opened up in all sams club locations. also signed a recent deal with HP. Research firm targets this company at $3. With all that being said a big stock promotion campaign is gonna be done here so the sellers are done and imo this is the bottom. do your DD and good luck

Also call their IR like i did at 862 596 8590

  41. You’re a douchebag. Everyone knows you’re rich, why brag about it? Get some class.

  42. LOL, everyone in finance for an extended period of time is a douche, who cares…why brag about it? easy, its my business and its friggin booming!
