Those Hypesters Are At It Again: AgFeed Industries Inc. (FEED)
Posted by timothysykes on Mon 11th of Aug, 2008 11:39:30 AMYou gotta love how blatantly the pig farmers over at FEED hype their business and spit in the faces of the incompetent SEC with ridiculously-forward-looking statements. Understand I’m not short, know nobody who is short and have nothing against hype and manipulation–I just love teaching people to profit from it and writing about it!
You might recall I’ve written a few posts about these master artists (can you guess what kind of artists I think they are?) before, HERE and HERE when they suckered some naive institutional investors at the top and got funding for their pig plundering.
But when I read aggressively hyped PRs like THIS, I feel compelled to blog about it. Because if I can prevent one sucker from getting in bed with these scumbags, maybe convince them not to be so trusting of anybody at these BS companies, instead going the route of my PennyStocking DVD, then I’ll have done my job–profiting from teaching about how incredibly manipulated the smallcap game really is.
Let’s just take a few points straight from the piggie’s mouth:
Raises Year 2008 Sales and Earnings Guidance
Dependant on the closing of them acquiring extra pig farms–if you read my prior posts, you see they’re getting these farms on the cheap, think 3-5x earnings–maybe cuz pig farming isn’t all these bastards would like us to believe it is–of course any further acquisitions are gonna add to earnings. This is a pathetic statement.
China’s Hog Prices Are Not Directly Linked to the World’s Agricultural Commodity Prices
Too funny. These guys are not Standard Oil, if I didn’t care whether or not I’d be killed by some Chinese assassin, I could probly disprove this statement with some hardcore research. As it is, I’ll just assume they’re guilty, as most smallcap companies, especially those who hype themselves up so much–like COIN, HYHY, KYUS–are.
I really could pick this thing apart further, but what’s the point–smart people already understand everything I’d write as this stock is down $1 off its intraday highs, dumb people would get more out of my PennyStocking DVD cuz it gives like 30 examples of similarly scummy companies and how they each played out.
Remember, unless you have the excess capital, there’s no reason to short a company that’s proven themselves to be master hypesters…not until their chart shows signs of cracking, which this one doesn’t…..yet.

Anyone know how and where Tim finds these stocks? I am limited with the stocks I can play. I can’t do pinks and OTC I can’t view them with my charting.
