Ask me any questions you’d like answered below…

PS I’ll have a detailed post later tonight, but you might see some talk about people buying NOBL before the market close–well after a long, long 6 trading days–you spoiled schmucks–the setup was there and I bought 1,500 shares at $5.02ish…lots of TIMalert subscribers got in at $5.03, $5.06, $5.10, $5.18 and in the $5.20s, all of whom, including me, are pretty happy with this close at $5.40…wait til you see some these testimonials! Right now, I’m just listening to their earnings conference call, the ANALyst who downgraded the stock one day before this 60% rise is on it right now, this could be funny…if you actually want to listen and learn what reactions to solid earnings from a debt-laden company with little to no expectations ar elike, listen to the conference call replay at (800) 642-1687 or (706) 645-9291. The passcode for the replay is 57728525.

  1. I did see NOBL I dont have tim alerts but I did mention it earlier and just once again didnt have the balls to do it.

  2. 2

I shorted this at 5.55 and should’ve covered at 4.90 something..I was busy at work and thought that will do it later.

Now it seems like I am gonna get screwed tomorrow if this is the Case timmy

  3. Hi Tim,

As far as trade mgmt; when you’re sizing up a potential short play in relation to your capital available (say you’re risking 25% on a typical long play), do you base your share order on the short sell as if it’s a buy, knowing you’re out w/ 2-3% exposure if the price heads north, or do you have another way of managing it? Thanks man, loved your last post btw… Quality NOT quantity!

  4. i use 10-40% of my capital per trade, based on how ideal a play it is…%s will also change as my account grows

  5. 5

so basically you are saying this stock will go up tomorrow…, Right?

  6. wow shorty that was briliant to short mnkd…i dont know why i didnt have it on my charts!…hey can you sign me up for shorty alerts?

  7. 7

LvsS, this stock is going to $10 tomorrow. No questions. Mortgage your house, sell your car today, rent out your dog and family, and buy more NOBL.

He THINKS it will go up tomorrow, which I agree with, but I wish we all KNEW it would go up tomorrow. It’s all about risk/reward.

  8. Nobl is down 37% AH.

  9. u dumb pieces of shit, its a typo/late print, bid is 5.40 ask is 5.70

  10. Chill bro, I’m just stating what I see in AH. But I see it’s 5.49 now. Guess we would all be disappointed if it were down 37%

  11. 11

    LOL!!!

  12. prophets…i see 5.49 after hours quote from CNN Money, where did u get your quotes from?

  13. i’ll chill when i stop getting half of TIMalerts idiots emailing me and asking if they’re really down big

  14. Well, I was checking it TOS and it showed 37%, thought TOS would be updated. But I just checked on CNN and yahoo. AND confirmed it’s at 5.49. i was about to cry. Since I have bigger stake than tim does in it.

  15. 15

I say we all need some SUSHI AND SAKEBOMBS!!!

  16. 16

HEAR HEAR NOOB!!! I’d like some seaweed salad along with my sake though. Mmmmmmm. That sounds good for dinner tonight…..

  17. I saw 5.49 AH on ToS 20 mins after the close.

  18. SAKEBOMB SAKEBOMB TORRO TORRO TORRO!!!

  19. Tim, you’re probably sick of hearing this question, but any update on the mobile alerts? I keep missing these things… made $750 off TRLG trade today though, so I’m not shitting myself just yet…

  20. I like to dip my sushi in snake oil.

  21. Puma, do what I did and set your own mobile alerts.
On gmail, and I guess in other webbased emails, you can set up a filter so when you receive an email from a particular email address it is forwarded to any address you like. In this case you type your phone. email address (if you don’t know it call your service provider, i think all northamerican cellphones have an email address)

That’s how I wake up to tim alerts message on my phone at 5:00 am.

  22. Tim went long on TRLG?

  23. Tim,

Long time follower, but still trying to figure out how your recent successful trading results aren’t heavily influenced by your TIM Alerts.

For example, with NOBL, if you buy 1500 shares at 5.02 and then send out a TIM Alert to your 300 or so subscribers….each subscriber buys lets say 1000 shares.

So, let’s do the math: that is 300 subscribers * 1000 shares = 300,000 shares. 300K shares is 37% of today’s entire volume of NOBL of 809K shares. Thus, is it no surprise that the stock goes up after you buy?

This is a serious post, and I’m not a hater, just seems that, EVEN if your setups are ideal, your recent trading success is amplified by the Tim Alerts. But hey, if it makes others money, guess it works.

  24. This is a guess here, but I can clearly see (on the 1-min chart) large green volume bars on NOBL begin to pick up just before 3:45PM. I’m not an alert subscriber, but, just looking at the volume, I’m you can clearly see when others bought in size just after the 3:42pm time frame or so, when the green bars started in mass. Guessing this is just after the time you sent the alert.

  25. of course its gonna get amplified but u gotta remember the same holds true when everyone sells out…and yet when i covered USS at 4, it still kept dropping to 3.50 that day, 2.50 the next…mkty, again i covered wrong and it dropped another 30%…

considering nearly all my picks go for several days, it doesnt even matter if u dont get in right away–ie people complaining USS dropped immediately from 4.60 to 4.30 after my alert… u gotta understand i’m picky with my alerts cuz i gotta find a wave big enough that will last for days

  26. and besides the picks i make are already trending the direction so it really is like surfing a wave

  27. A,
    Just shut up and buy.

  28. i didn’t look at my email till 5! missed the NOBL call. would have been in and out already and payed for my subscription!

Looks like a DECK squeeze tomorrow IF the market is at least half decent

  29. Made ~20% on lcc today. Im happy, i suggest shorting it premarket tommrow if your looking to add to your positions.
    Thats just me though

If you do, cover in the first 2 hours, because these airlines just pick a time to spike, and then they do it, no holds barred.

  30. 30

You guys have fun with NOBL, I am going to listen to my coach TIM SYKES and let this one fade for a bit then short the PUNK.

  31. you know your coach Tim is long NOBL right?

  32. So Tim..when are you gonna go public?….otc, pinksheets, nasdaq…lol

  33. 33

Of course I know he is long but this is a typical pattern he would and probably will short in the next few trading days.

  34. Hey Shorty… Yeah, I have that on my phone too… unfortunately with ATT’s Edge network is the shits and I had a delay from when the alert reached my inbox and my phone gave the alert. By that time the market was already closed. I’ll catch the next one though, no biggie. Did you make a killing on MNKD today? I just noticed it fell off a cliff!

Marc, no Tim didn’t play that one, that was one I picked up this morning after it announced great earnings and opened down .50… as soon as it went green I bought in and rode it up $1.50 before bailing.

  35. 36

    Tim, any thoughts on NPSP?

  36. yeah, NPSP is boooooring!

  37. 38

    …….but they’ve got a good new drug………….
