Vacation My Arse: 16 Hot Stocks To Play/Watch/Laugh At

Tags: Hot Stocks, Potential Plays

In yesterday’s watchlist, I correctly said buy the breakouts…too many to count/trade, but given the price action of the most perfect of them all, my “buy CNEH TIMalert at $4.60” was just a thing of beauty…detailed post coming later today (can you guys post how much you made on that one so I can highlight the big winners!)

Rediff.com India Limited (ADR) (REDF)
Turd of a company, recommended by every major talking head—proving how useless they are, look at that beautifully gradual downtrend, thank god for pitiful CNBC pumping this thing, reserve shares, cuz this is gonna dump either today or tomorrow…

Tengasco, Inc. (TGC)
Remember that TIMalert buy on this one back at $1.70? Yeah it really takes a perfect breakout to get me to buy—considering I have the dark gift—so when these things breakout, they can really go far…who knows when this stops, when it does, trust me, I’ll be there with my hatchet to chop its momo off

Cubic Energy, Inc. (QBIK)
Nice looking energy breakout play, but stock didn’t really show it wanted to go higher…consolidated for so long, kinda like everyone waiting for the big party to begin and then when it does, it’s a letdown…reserve shares as this might actually be a fakeout breakout

Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies (QTWW)
Another nice technical breakout, but only satisfactory earnings—yup, there’s a reason why it’s a junkie penny stock—might take this down to SATC-failed-breakout-type-I’m-a-doomed-strung-out-junkie levels

HYGS
No failure to breakout here, reserve shares as this one could be good for reversals, even if it is still too low for anything more than 10-20 cents

CNEH
Told you I suck at trading as I’m the only guy to sell out below $5…whatever, great confirmed breakout now, let’s see how high it goes, wouldn’t be surprised to see $6…use CHQ price action as a reference

Quantum Group, Inc. (QGP)
Laughable $20 lil company with soooo little info, just reserve shares to short, chart is begging for reversal, ideally after more spiking

ABAT
Why people like these messy breakouts I’ll never know, but I am glad it reversed hard, teaches punks the meaning of a clean vs. messy chart that I detail in my DVD PennyStocking

GETG
All hail PennyStocking master student Tony Ellis for catching this one–and trying to alert us–last week. Superb breakout, just not enough time in the day/capital in the world to catch all these.

New Century Energy Corp. (NCEY)
Breaking out biiiiig, still only $40mil company, let it run

China Sun Group High Tech Co. (CSGH)
Looks to wanna breakout, careful, Lebed’s stench is all over this one, I trust it about as much as I’d trust a mobster not to eat a freshly made cannoli

INTERCONTINENTAL HLDGS INC (ICLH)
Nobody knows anything about this company and Pink Sheets hasn’t even been able to contact them! LOL Too funny…and yet it rises….try to find shares to short

CYBERDEFENDER CORP (CYDE)
Joke of a company got a big spike due to any number of their wanna-get-noticed-paid-for-“IR”-deals…reserve shares to short of this pig

OncoVista Innovative Therapies Inc. (OVIT)
Wait is Canada Day or Joke Of A Company Day? Try to find shares of this one too

GLOBAL EMPLOYMENT HLDGS INC (GEYH)
OK, when you add this one to the list of jokes, you gotta wonder WTF is buying these cockroaches?

Glen Rose Petroleum Corporation (GLRP)
Trying to pull of a long-term breakout, I don’t think it will, but give it a chance…

Tim, I know this is not the type of thing you’d even consider, but my program that scans insider transactions flagged INT and CVH as buys for today. INT is at 21.65 right now and CVH is at 30.06. Typically these are big board plays that I put a lot into, and just try to get about 5% from them.

Just wanted to throw them out there in case anyone was interested.

Tony Ellis - how, may I ask, did you find GETG in the first place and how did you pick it for a breakout? The Friday pattern looks the same as the pattern for Wednesday the 25th except for a huge volume spike near the end of the day…

Sold half my postion in CNEH to lock in some profits.
    (500@5.42 from 4.64)
Should never have sold so early yesterday on HYGS, only made $120.
I signed on to covestor yesterday. Anyone know why it would show a negative return, when the only three positions I had all were positive?

bullpick6, welcome to the site blatant stock promoter…HYBR is one of the worst alt. energies around, as evidenced by their continuous and flagrant spamming, thank u, u’ve just inspired a post

    Congrats Doubling stocks !!!

Finally pumping stocks as it was meant to be great spike on MYEC, however no stock to short whatsoever, tried to reserve earlier, nothing around on TOS, and my IB account is blocked till tomorrow for PDT. Booh.

By the way, this piggy got squeezed, coulda shoulda have covered at 1.95….MOMMMYYY !!!!!

  29. 29Keith

Looks like TGC filled the gap and wants to go higher. Usually 11:00 seems to be a time when stocks continue their morning trends.

Tim I said on the OTC BB, not on the market, you yourself know they are 99% scams, thing is this scam continues to move up

  31. 31Terry

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:23 am

COIN is starting another of it’s runs - will it pull off it’s famous afternoon fade - or is the good news enough to keep it running?

  32. 32Keith

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:23 am

HYGS looks similar with consolidation here. Will continue higher soon maybe.

  33. 33Rambone

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:23 am

AG stocks tanking. This was the strongest sector in the economy so when these go down you know things are bad. POT off 11 since my 230 short call yesterday. IPI down 2 from the 65 short call.

  34. 34timothysykes

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:24 am

haha u call that chart of HYBR “moving up”? how much u getting paid by them…this is a dead cat bounce, possibly shortable

  35. 35bullpicks6

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:29 am

Tim I’m surprised you haven’t noticed me posting here before, I was in the live Friday thing a few weeks back and called PGOG short; I’m not promoter, I just think that this bounce can make some people some money, it’s already made me some from my entry yesterday; sure they continue to promote their stock, but they do so more efficiently than most OTC’s also, I’ve noticed from reading disclaimers they pay their promoters in cash; which imo is a good thing because it doesn’t further dilute the market…take it as you will but this looks like a decent play, plus they’ve just reported an increase in the short position which leads me to believe they’re alluding to a short squeeze

  36. 36timothysykes

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:37 am

bullpicks too any people here now to keep track, but again i ask, how much is HYBR paying u? u seem to have no disclaimer on your site and yet u have featured companies….SEC might not like that

  37. 37investorslive

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:42 am

bullpicks definately a promoter, remember KGBC bull?

  38. 38bullpicks6

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:44 am

that’s not my site, just a site I follow, they do have a disclaimer, on the bottom of the page; looks like they were paid 20k, again, I understand why you would think I’m pumping but I’m not, I just play to win…long or short whatever it takes. I’ve been trading for 6 years on the OTC and much like you have found myself a niche; oversold bottoms, overbought tops (short), low float-never-traded-before-allofasuddenbeing-spammed breakouts. These are plays I like, HYBR is one of the oversold bottoms, as you can see on the chart, today brought it back into it’s channel, looking at it’s recent trading history on intradays it’s what I would refer to as a “west coast stock” meaning it sees more action late in the day, not an early morning type of stock (which as I’m sure you know, is becoming more and more rare on this level), but hey, if you don’t like my opinion that’s fine; sometimes I don’t agree with your opinion but I like your site so I continue to comeback, there’s room in pennystocking for many strategies, I’m just here to enrich your community with mine,

  39. 39bullpicks6

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:45 am

Investors Live, absolutely not, I’ve never heard of the company

  40. 40timothysykes

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:46 am

oh u’re def. enriching the site, i welcome all, glad u’re a sport!

  41. 41Get Shorty..... Reloaded

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:46 am

You guys are tempting me to short hybr…. no shorty… calm down shorty… bad shorty….no sideway movement yet shorty…… seat….. GOOD SHORTY.

  42. 42bullpicks6

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:47 am

oh Tim also, before I got on my rant there, I was trying to say if HYBR can hold this price throughout the day, and hopefully make some more gains, that points to a continuation tomorrow imo; I’m going to take off half my position at $5, and hold the rest for $6 hopefully, if it dips below $4.50 at any point I’ll sell

  43. 43Terry

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:47 am

    Terry,

Good looking out. If it dips under $6 we all know what to do. Stock was at 5 even earlier today without the CNBC pump.

  47. 47Kevin

    July 1st, 2008 at 10:57 am

Rambone, you mentioned UVSE, do you think we’ll have a nice spike. I’m seeing a notable volume increase over the past few weeks with very little price movement, is this relevant?

  48. 48Kevin

    July 1st, 2008 at 11:02 am

    nevermind, meant that for ufgemini

  49. 49Rambone

    July 1st, 2008 at 11:03 am

LGDI I like this chart. Once again a steady runner not a monster. Break of 4.50 should take it to 5.
