You Can’t Handle The Pump, Marathon LiveStock Nor My DVD Contest Rules
Posted by timothysykes on Sun 15th of Jun, 2008 11:04:46 AMMy latest Youtube clip, “You Can’t Handle The Pump!”, produced, directed and edited by the man himself, Chuckieeeeeee Boyce, features me playing the role of a stock promoter, who’s twisted the law to fit his own little warped mind…kinda like Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men…you can call me Jew Nicholson.

As much as we all want to hate people like this, not only do they inspire great movies, they inspire great Short Selling opportunities too…mad respect…for without them, you could never make high percentage short-term profits—long or short—with Penny Stocks .
Thank you to the 500 of you who joined in the marathon Friday the 13th 8-hour marathon episode of LiveStock…next week we go back to our 1-2PM EST time slot. If you missed it cheer up, now you can watch the rebroadcast for all eternity—in bits and pieces is probly best—and the Mogulus player has an “on demand” button so you can fast forward and rewind to specific times…the marathon show seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I’m recovering from a nasty sore throat. So lemme hear some feedback, good or bad!
And yes, you read correctly HERE, nobody won the contest from the other day because my post said “correctly guess the closing price” of LEH, which was $25.81…and nobody guessed it. I was gonna give a nice autographed copy of my book An American Hedge Fund to Gra since his guess of 25.72 was only 9 cents off, but then I discovered he voted twice—his first guess was $19.68!! For shame…only 1 vote per person people…I’ve got too many interns now for you slip a fast one by me.
So nobody gets anything this round—kinda like a potential Supernova that doesn’t form correctly, gets halted by the SEC or there’s no shares to borrow to sell short. Sorry, but life imitates the market and vice versa. Good lesson for everyone to learn and I’ll be sure to say “whoever guesses closest” next contest as I’m a man of my word—ask whoever’s won previous contests—I can’t remember them all, but I do remember Jorge from Investing Adventures winning once before.

Oh well,I’M NOT BITTER…I will get over it, had my hope’s dashed again, i’m use to it.
So when is the next Compo, so I can see my name mentioned as a possible winner and lose to a technical hitch lol.
Gra
ha not to mention your last guess came AFTER the market close on Friday…buuuuuuuusted
Sounds like like GRA “can’t handle the truth!” ……ok enough with the Jack Nicolson. lol
Tim, I never got around to voting, but had I, I would have guessed $25.81, which pretty much makes me the winner. Please e-mail me for my shipping address. :)
Oh, and the LiveStock marathon was an experience. I was in for a couple of hours around noon time, and checked back around 3:30 and it looked like all that was left were a bunch of assclowns heckling you. Props for finishing it though.. Now you know what us 9 to 5ers deal with on a daily basis, you lucky rich bastard!
I was pretty dang close Tim with 25.53 (Bob Barker style with not going over)- and I guessed extremely early- I’ll even let you send me the DVD and not tell anyone- our secret:)
My brother’s home after graduating law school at UF- while he’s not cramming for the BAR, we’ve been watching Friday’s Livestock- great stuff even if there weren’t perfect trades. My Dad’s Ftaher’s Day gift was your Few Good Men spoof.
I did have a question for you- how important is Level II and would you trade without it?
haha u guys are funny, check out my newest post about tiger woods yall:
http://www.timothysykes.com/20.....ine-video/
and no i’d never trade without level 2, thats like grocery shopping without a list
Like I said, I slight technical hitch lol…
Anyways…I will try harder the next time, so if you want to just send me the DVD and Book for now so I can review it, then when you have the next Compo, there won’t be any techo hitches and I will WIN it for real, and I will save you money on postage as it’s going to go up again soon lol.
Thanks…Gra
I thought the marrathon was great, but please don’t do one agian as I realy have no disire to sit in front of my computer for 8 hours staight.
yah wont be happening again for a little while….although u could always watch it in parts and sitting in front of a computer is a GIFT compared to a 110-degree studio
You thinking of a way to calm down that frat party that was going on in the chat, would be nice to weed out the coherent questions from the ALL CAPSLOK BROKIN ENGRISH LLOLLOL!
Probably not much you can do i imagine.
yah new technology, mogulus has promised chat moderation features though…theyre not used to finance scum
I realy did enjoy it though.
…if you haven’t joined the LiveStock social network yet, please do!
