May 2008 Review: The Only Real Mistake Is The One From Which We Learn Nothing
May was an interesting month and no matter the multitude of mistakes, I gotta say it was an outright success. Sure, thanks to me focusing too much on building this new site, not being disciplined enough in avoiding commodity plays or more importantly, waiting until they showed some–any–weakness to short, not being able to take enough pain before the damn busted (CNEX!!!!) or getting a short trade executed accidentally when I told everyone else to stay away (VRML!!!!)—yes made just about every mistake in the book, wasting away precious opportunities as if I was Britney Spears—TIM finished down just over 2% at $17,807…. Boo freaken hoo—now with less projects, albeit slightly, less sleep, sucks, I’m up already up 5% after 3 good trades this month!
Definitely more importantly Pennystocking students like Jeff Moates and Tony Ellis, are really banking, think $10,000+/month, no joke, aka doing much better than me—as I predicted throughout my instructional DVD…“you can do better than me”—and that’s certainly the reason why my website traffic is breaking out gradually…not a pattern to short like it was back HERE

In summary, yes, I screwed up a lot, so what, I masterfully controlled my losses, you guys learned from it, I learned from it, now we’re all better at trading, we can l augh at the 90% of traders who don’t know what the F#$! they’re doing, falling prey to “gurus” who cost thousands of dollars but fail miserably at enriching anybody but themselves and thus who should be taunted/ripped apart regularly and sternly, we understand the risks better, our profits are getting bigger the world is a better place. Welcome to my mission, enjoy!
Good Trades
Finally shorting into panic, gooooood Timmayyyy
Another perfect short, just wait for that momo to die baby
Good strategy, bad SEC bin Laden!
Bad Trades
Lack of discipline + bad SEC= bad news
My peeps make more $ than me, should they pay for the inevitable inaugural PennyStocking party?
Can’t believe I missed this one, this is akin to Britney losing millions by shaving her head, we both suck
Breaking rules is no fun, especially when you got something so perrrrfect
Too busy to trade, ya lil bitch
Wow, what a missed opportunity, think thousands in easssssy profits
And for my final screw up…

Good Morning Tim and all readers. I have kept an eye on Tims site for some time now and am pleased that someone finally got tired of the established manipulation and has been making an effort to educate the little guy. I assume most of you are fairly young. When I was young I didn’t listen to those older who had much more life experience and certainly would give anything to go back and do it over. I started out life as an orphan with nothing and no-one. During my lifetime I have had money and all the toys that go with it, and I have also through medical situations, lost everything and been desperately poor with no help from anyone. I have overcome that situation and have been back to trading for a while now. I have spent several years researching and educating myself on the markets and the U.S. and global economys.
Tim is certainly correct about the manipulation, controlled media, purposeful mis-information given to the public. The old saying “Ignorance is Bliss” has some merit, as I am thankful for what I now know, but wish to God it wasn’t true and sometimes wish I didn’t know certain things.
There are going to be some very major changes in America very soon that will affect life as you know it. I give Tim a lot of credit for helping expose the lies and manipulation in the markets. Once in a while, you need to step back and look at the overall world picture and you will realize that this situation is not only in the financial markets. I am not going to post all that I know here as this is Tims site and I don’t plan on using it as a soapbox. But if you want to even begin to gain an understanding of some basic principles that will give you a start at learning what is really going to happen, take some time out and go to youtube and watch (The Most Important Video You’ll Ever See) All 8 parts. You will learn some very basic truths and principles that will help you understand where the market is going and also where the world is going. Hopefully a few of you will watch all 8 parts and give some deep thought to the simple principles and if you apply them to all you see and read and hear, you will be much more able to discern the truth from the deception. This is only a start to your education. I can point you in the right direction but it is up to you to to have the drive and desire to learn what is really going on. If anyone takes the time to watch the videos, I would like to hear what you learned from them at least as they would relate to the market. Keep up the good work Tim. You can rarely go wrong on the short side.

nice month in review Tim, definetly one of the most education months I’ve gotten from you yet. i just finished going over the last dvd last night. I’ll be re-visiting them again this week as well. Although my account is so small I can’t afford 11 minutes with Ashlee Dupre, I’ll be learning a lot more now that I’m starting to understand all of this.

Hey Tim,
You can add me to those Jeff Moates and Tony Ellis numbers.
I did very well before I found you but nothing like now!
Thanks for that.
You can correct me if I’m wrong but from the comments I was first to bring SPDE TRX SOIS SOLI and PTEK here just this week.
I only mention this cause there are more $$$$$$ making stocks out there than ROYL MXC FPP GRO NTI etc.
And the cool thing is they are not that hard to find if one wants to put a little time and effort into this.
Just watch for red on PARD SLAT HDLM END CHP INO MYSL HYHY PRC CYPW ( someone brought this to the site the other day ,credit to them, this is gonna be nice on red )PGOG ( agian credit someone else ).
These are exactly the kind not followed by the “big boys”.
Scr** them, I’m having my way with these kind.

Hello All,
I recently discovered your site after seeing you on Wall Street Warriors and wanted to make a quick introduction to the group here.
I am relatively new to the market and I just got my feet wet about 8 months ago. I started out with a small investment of $2,000 to begin my portfolio and decided that I wanted to start out trading penny stocks. I felt these stocks were the best way to generate the greatest return for such a small initial investment. But being the young 25-year-old, inexperienced, and naïve trader that I was, my very first trade in a penny stock resulted in a loss of $645. The reason I lost so much was because I did not research the company well enough and played them long. Long story short, the company filed for Chapter 11. Talk about being devastated, losing 33% of my hard earned money in a matter of about a week. Rather than just giving up right then and there I was determined to make money and was willing to risk it all, for better or worse.
For the past 8 months I have been continually trading and researching my stock trades before just diving in head first. I have since added $5,000 more of my own money to my initial investment and have generated about $4,000 in net profits during that time bringing my current account balance to $11,000.
Now, at 26 with $11,000 in my account, I can’t help but to make a few parallels to Tim and all the rest here on this site. After trying many different investment styles over the last 8 months, I have always been interested in pennystocking. Upon learning about this site, reading everything Tim has accomplished and studying his philosophy on pennystocking, I have reached the conclusion that his method makes the most sense to me. After watching the market for the short time that I have been trading, the one thing I have learned time after time, trade after trade, is that stock prices fall a lot more often and a lot faster than they do on their climb upwards, so shorting highly volatile stocks like the ones discussed here, seems like a very logically approach to me.
I apologize for the long winded introduction, but I just wanted to toss my story out there for what it’s worth and I hope to start generating more consistent returns starting this month using Tim’s method like many of you have already started doing. I just purchased Tim’s book the other day and look forward to reading it. I have not yet bought the DVD, I am only going off what I have learned from all of you in the past week, but I do have plans to pick it up in the near future in order to learn as much as I can on Tim’s method. I’ll be sure to post my trades along with any earnings or losses I will have in order to add any further insight into this “addiction” called pennystocking.

Hiya Cash,
I’ve been trading for about 14 years and I basically stunk, using the same old same old that everybody else uses.
Then I got in contact with an old friend Muddy,
http://greenonthescreen.blogspot.com/
who has been trading about 43 years now about 9 months ago and he mentored me and turned my trading absolutely around.
The last 5 months I’ve averaged over 100% a month the last 5 months.
And finding Tim’s stuff and his shorts has helped tremendously.
Yes I go both long and short!
Muddy’s taken his annual summer vacation and now I’m filling in on his blog and live chatroom.

Mike thanks for the info and I will surely check out the blog. So when you say you trading for 14 yrs was trading your only income at the time and that what you do full time now?

Cash,
I worked those 14 years and in the last 9 months I got laid off, luckily it turns out.
I’ve been trading fulltime these last 9 months and have tripled my yearly working income in that time.
And no gasoline bills going back and forth to that crappy job,ha

You guys GOTTA listen to Mike13th and go in his chat room. I’m kicking myself for the past few days. I was in the chat room when he mentioned the PCYC and PARL prehits, but I hesitated to buy them and missed some awesome moves that, in just a few days, would’ve wiped out a big chunk of losses I suffered last month during my whole “initiation” and learning of this game.
Bottom line is, on Monday, if he mentions any good prehits that go green on open, I’m in.

Thanks for the tip.
And LOOKIE RVBF a “former 0 vol stock”.
Just the kind I’ve said in past that when you find them and if they start to run on some vol you can almost ALWAYS assume they are being pumped somewhere by somebody!
