10 Hot Stocks That Will Make You Tear Up & Be Unable To Watch FOX Biz

Tags: Hot Stocks, Manipulation, Potential Plays

Yeah there’s lot more, but again nothing ideal to short…yet…especially all these crappy oil companies, nothing like a rising tide to lift all boats

ASIA exemplifies a slow boring breakout of a real company…makes me sick to my stomach how slow these things move, no wonder why 90% of traders lose money trading these things…blehhhh….I’ll take fake companies that move any day of the week

FORC=KYUS=HYBR
as all three are known to have been sending out spam mailers to get people to buy their crappy stocks! C’mon guys, these companies are fake–ever wonder why I can say that and get away with it? Cuz it’s the truth and the fake companies don’t wanna fight me in court! I lost $400 shorting KYUS too early (detailed post coming soon)—not because I don’t think the stock is lower 1-2 months form now, but because I’m not gonna be around much today (working on a live version of TIMtv) so I couldn’t risk a big squeeze…yup, playing it safe to teach you guys a lesson!

NCOC is a breakout that I called yet also made fun of…what the hell do I know, I only made a few million…use my posts however you want, I’m better than most even if I screw up quite often.

PDO and MXC are great examples of why you don’t short randomly strong penny stocks…sure, sure you might be able to scalp $1-2, the kinds of gains I’m used to, but the risk-reward is very different…just as how similar chart patterns do not all mean the same thing (pump & dumps vs. earnings), there are different kinds of $1-2/share gains…and yesterday PDO screwed a lot of unprepared people and probly will do some more screwing today. (Don’t be one of them, learn how to play the game!)

KUN is just your typical tiny Chinese AMEX play that everyone wants to short cuz it’s up sooo much on no news…screw you, you early short sellers you know not what you do…yes you may scalp a quick victory, but like PDO, your risk-reward sux…I suggest you look at RCH’s historical chart

CNEX bounced a lot on 96,000 shares, big whoop…no I’m not looking to re-short, you guys still don’t get that I look to take advantage of the effects of stop losses going off, that’s it….all the stop losses have been taken out already, like an FBI agent stalking the scouting out the scene of a crime after the boys in the lab have already taken away all the evidence…nothing more for me to do here until another crime gets committed and amateurs are taken out back and shot

SOL is a solar earnings play, don’t you dare try to short that, especially you amateurs…your probable loss will give short selling a bad name and I won’t allow that cuz just because you’re an idiot does not mean this strategy ain’t great

    Tim
I just got back from Borders to get your book, but they didn’t have one. I got a few generic books instead jsut to try and get the basics down.

I am extremely new to the stock market. I knew nothing about the market until I saw an interview with you on G4 2 months or so ago. I opened an Etrade account that night maybe, I think. I am still kinda scared of the idea of shorting, but follow your site many many times/day and wanted your book to try and get the idea/risks down a little better. I’ll try another bookstore when I get back from vacation, tomorrow we are going to Mexico.

I also opened another account at Zecco the other day to try and learn a little cheaper and put 3k in it, equal amount as my Etrade account.

Tried to post this in forums but they wouldn’t load for me today, or at least quick enough. Looking forward to the new site

Not sure if any of you do swing trades, but SWHC is a buy at these levels imo, as I’ve traded in this upward trend a few times over the last couple of months- today’s drop is tempting me to pick some more up. Def. not the supernova plays TIM was built to teach about, but I know from your posts that some of you use a few strategies.

i stop in to see al hell breaking loose–what the hell r u guys doing shorting KYUS? did u not learn from my istake yesterday? did u not watch my dvd? did u not read my comments #8 or #10? yes, by not shorting in the morning, u might miss a big down day like CNEX, but CNEX was still good for a few points in the afternoon AFTER it was a confirmed breakdown.

as for PDO, i’m sorry Barbe, I tried warning you not to sort random strong penny stocks

guys, really gotta stay more disciplined or u’ll give short selling a bad name when its really only your fault

Anyone else just get that “your dad just came home and took off his belt after your mom warned you to just ‘wait till dad gets home!’” feeling after reading Tim’s last post. I know I did- sorry about KYUS Tim- I have shares of PDO reserved- but I promise I’m just watching!

    May 16th, 2008 at 1:43 pm

KYUS negative again. Check it out before it’s too late.

You guys can’t jump at every little negative movement of a stock. You have to wait until it breaks a key support level. Otherwise you’re just chasing trades…which is a sure way to lose money.

    Tim and everyone else..
I see XRM is on your watchlist it has been having major trouble breaking over 4.50 its been sideways almost all week…I am thinking about taking a short position…any ideas Tim and everyone?

MXC looks like my pant bulge after a night at the strippy. Who is pumping this junkyard stock anyway???

SANM is about to breakout, very heavy volume yesterday and today. I am in, maybe it will be my another $3500 maker!

Good eyes bdog, XRM is up off earnings but that chart does look tempting for a short, but I would wait to do it into the close if your going to make a move.

Check out the daily view on PDO, today looks like a potential doji.

Waiting for confirmation, sideways action, etc.

  15. 115timothysykes

    May 16th, 2008 at 1:57 pm

chart patterns are uesless for MXC and PDO they’re commodity and now earnings plays…DVD students know this :)

  16. 116Dan-O

    May 16th, 2008 at 1:59 pm

Hey man, I bought the DVD’s and you know it.

  17. 117Dan-O

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:02 pm

You are right though, candle patterns have made me very little money.

The only reliable pattern I’ve seen is the H&S, and that’s probably just self fulfilling

  18. 118dshi

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:02 pm

GBR. The company has just sold part of his assets for net cash of about 14.5 million. With only less than 2 million shares on float, this asset conversion will bring in a minimum of $7 per share. However, the current market capital is still less than 10 million. My guts tell me it’s going to be wild up at $7-9 range.

  19. 119Dan-O

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:06 pm

    What kinda gibberish is that!!

DSHI how much debt, what’s the forward earnings… Wait this is penny stocks… Who f’n cares!

Ah, you’re probably a GD spambot.

  20. 120Blithe

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:07 pm

Yep, PDO has been crazy. On paper it hurt me, but sooo much fun to watch.

  21. 121cash

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:10 pm

Good call Dan. I mean I would have thought dshi was a CNBC analyst or something.

PCOP - hopefully the start of something here … if it could only run north of $6 or $7 on Monday.

  24. 124timothysykes

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:33 pm

shorted 3,000 KYUS at $2.58 now that its proven to fade in the afternoon…in a cab back to my apartment, will have more details shortly

  25. 125YngvaiMalmsteve

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:46 pm

I was a little late getting in at $2.45. I f’ed myself because I had shares reserved this morning then canceled the order when KYUS bounced and was showing some strength again. Should’ve held the reserved shares. Still, this is a nice slow fade and I should make some profit off of it…might be a good short to hold over a day.

Just need to crack that $2.40 support.

  26. 126timothysykes

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:51 pm

guess i only got 2800 of my 3000 executed, just covered them at $2.45, cant risk a friday afternoon/monday morning short squeeze, don’t know how more fliers will be going out over the wkeened…made $345, now down like $50 total on it, nice safe play, if it tanks, it tanks

  27. 127Davey

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:52 pm

In 2800 KYUS @ 2.45, I was late as well, wanted a bounce but I’ll hold if it remains weak into the close.

  28. 128timothysykes

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:52 pm

otherwise known as a wussy trade, just to be totally honest…those with balls hold over the weekend

  29. 129YngvaiMalmsteve

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:55 pm

C’mon, break that $2.40 support, dammit!

  30. 130Davey

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:56 pm

I’m with you Yngvai, it needs to take out that 2.40 support level. It looks close to losing it though.

  31. 131Davey

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:57 pm

Lol damn just as i write that 2.40 is broken.

  32. 132jesseb

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:57 pm

Homoerotic shit here - my piddly little account is not allowed to short apparently. They want you to have over 2k on TOS now to short stocks…

  33. 133YngvaiMalmsteve

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:58 pm

Hey, jesseb, I think that’s an SEC regulation, not a rule specific to TOS.

  34. 134cash

    May 16th, 2008 at 2:59 pm

Tim did you really make $344 in 18 minutes? Damn I can not wait to play this game or trading.

  35. 135jesseb

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:00 pm

Ah, well they were willing to let me do it yesterday….maybe somebody got their balls kicked :P I asked the guy if I could, and he said “sure, what’s your account number”…I didn’t actually do it, but he SAID I could.

Today different story…I guess that’s good to know, I’ll have to go long on some shit and build up a bankroll first :P

I should go play some Hold’Em at the casino :P j/k…

  36. 136timothysykes

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:02 pm

who gives a damn about 2.40, 2.38 was support…can u not see that was the day low this morning? getting close to taking out though, not sure if it will today or monday

  37. 137Davey

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:02 pm

Jesseb, check the list in the morning Tim usually puts out some stocks that are breaking out to possibly go long on. Look at what NCOC did yesterday.

  38. 138RGIlles

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:04 pm

Forc is also heading to the craper

  39. 139jesseb

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:05 pm

Davey, yeah that was quite the climb - I also wished I had gotten in on IOMI before they got bought out, and PDO before they went skyrocketing.

I work during the day though, it’s hard for me to get involved in any trade unless I have lots of time to devote to watching it.

Or rather, I refuse to get involved in a trade if I can’t be right there watching it…

And btw, in the last two minutes a bird flew into the window, knocking itself out or dying or something, and a construction worker drove by on a segway…good times :P

  40. 140jesseb

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:08 pm

Heading to lunch - hope you’re all making lots of money ;)

Timmy, respond to my accusation that on Mo Money you were drinking apple cider… :)

  41. 141timothysykes

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:13 pm

congrats on the breadown guys, this is confirmed afternoon lower low, it dont get much more bearish than that. i made $350, but probly left $750 when all is said and done. let me go write my blog posts and whine about it

    KYUS broke 2.38 support

  43. 143getshorty

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:15 pm

    TIM

am short cmk.tse (cline mining) since it broke support of $ 1.00 (shorted at 0.97). However, it is back at 1.02. Not sure if holding over the weekend. Looks like a potential waterfall, or can it be a fakeout??

    http://bigcharts.marketwatch.c.....=0&y=0

    Long pcq.v

    http://bigcharts.marketwatch.c.....&time=

Momentum on its side, but I think I’ll close it before weekend, may fall off a cliff without warning.

I am going over the dvd for the 19th time and you always say short after the breakdown (CMK), however, not sure when you do that and goes back up a couple of cents….feels dangerous.

  44. 144Davey

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:31 pm

I’m out 2800 KYUS @ 2.37 didn’t like the support that just came in. 200ish profit

  45. 145RGIlles

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:35 pm

    I got out 1000 @ 2.33

  46. 146timothysykes

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:37 pm

post your dollar profits on KYUS people, i wanna include them in my next post!

  47. 147getshorty

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:37 pm

Congrats to all who have covered kyus, I couldn’t since I am blocked from trading US stocks until Wednesday, still trying to make my mind in whether to stay short cmk
    http://bigcharts.marketwatch.c…..=0&y=0
Over the weekend……. If that buy orders at 1.01 could just go away……

I guess I’ll cover, since allready went to 0.97 and there was no panic, I guess there are not many sell stop orders around 1 …. sucks

  48. 148Davey

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:38 pm

Nice job Rgllles, its spiking a bit now, so we’ll see how good our exits are towards the close, so far they don’t look too bad.

  49. 149YngvaiMalmsteve

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:42 pm

I’m holding my short over the weekend. Yes, balls of steel

  50. 150Davey

    May 16th, 2008 at 3:42 pm

224 on KYUS, about 204 with fees.
