Posted by Timothy Sykes on Fri 19th of Sep, 2008 12:57:18 PMUPDATE: Suck on this you SEC bastards, I just began pre-selling my brand new 6-hour ShortStocking Instructional DVD (learn more HERE) and it’s gonna teach everyone how to profit from short selling…legally.
Now that joke of an industry “bigtimers” like Cramer, Mish and Ritholtz are calling the SEC financial terrorists, see HERE, HERE and HERE, remember somebody beat them to it by several months…

How To Profit From The Latest Ban On Short Selling aka How To Legally Profit From Should-Be Illegal Market Manipulation
Posted by Timothy Sykes on Thu 18th of Sep, 2008 05:59:31 PMThe government has proven time and again that they’re going to scapegoat short sellers for the sins of others who used too much leverage/power for too long, THIS latest ridiculous investigation is no different.

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Mon 15th of Sep, 2008 04:03:00 PMMaybe you’re not supposed to ask more than a few close friends to vote for you, but I’m gonna flex my blog audience muscles by asking ALL of you to vote for me by visiting the poll by clicking right HERE. (If that link doesn’t work, go HERE to Alley Insider’s main page and look for the “SA 100 Voting Booth” icon)

How My Blog Made $70,000 Even While I Went Away For 10 Days In August
Posted by Timothy Sykes on Mon 8th of Sep, 2008 03:47:29 PMWell, $69,972 for the month to be exact…pisses me off I was so close to breaking the $70,000 barrier, but came up a lousy $28 short! What can I say, it’s a tough life.
This getting-ridiculous-rather-quickly figure is up from $45,000 in July (see July details HERE), up from $25k in June, $15k in May (those are estimated cuz they weren’t high enough for me to spend hours dissecting everything in order to brag about it)
…and of course the icing on the cake is that I had a nice trip to Japan for 10 days (see itinerary HERE, pics/videos will be up shortly) even while my blog was more than paying for the trip as I was taking it!
Here’s the breakdown:

Would You Rather Your Stock Guru Be Ruthless Or A Pu$$y?
Posted by timothysykes on Thu 4th of Sep, 2008 01:06:30 PMWhen I wrote THIS post detailing why I was rooting for Hurricane Gustav to be big time, I knew some people bitches would get offended.
Did I care?
Fu%& no!
You see I am not some polite snake-oil salesman trading coach–aka the entire scumbag “expert trader guru” niche (obviously there’s a few good eggs, but I’ve no time to search them out, and like the world of fraudulent penny stocks, the numbers are like 99% fraudulent, so let’s just round up/play it safe and say 100%–I am a ruthless trader whose had his share of ups and downs and has come out a meaner/more cynical person and better trader/investor for it.
And you should thank your lucky stars that I am this way.
Cuz if I wasn’t, I couldn’t

Introducing The TIMalerts Lifetime Membership, Yours for $2,000
Posted by timothysykes on Wed 3rd of Sep, 2008 04:36:38 PMRemember THIS post when I was pondering offering TIMalerts lifetime subscriptions?
Well, that got a few people emailing me and one guy actually bought the first TIMalerts lifetime membership for $2,000!

Yes, those who purchase it below will get their very own TIMalerts lifetime member card you see above. Just click pay now and the card is yours!
But forget that little card for a second–as cool as it is–this ain’t no AMEX black card (see what I think about those HERE)…TIMalert lifetime members will receive alerts by email/Twitter (follow me HERE)/whatever the next communication tool/device is for the rest of my life.
And those who know me, know I’m one hard-working SOB so I won’t stop….ever. Even if I get so rich it doesn’t matter or if I get too cocky and blow up…I’ll keep writing and providing trade ideas. Only thing that’ll stop me is if I have a heart attack from too much good food, or if I get taken out by an angry stock promoter, run over, etc.
In time, I do intend to clone myself, but this membership will only be valid during the course of my lifetime, subscription through my clone/s will have to be negotiated at a later date since the science is still new and the costs unknown.
There’s no set schedule of how often I trade or will trade, as TIMalert subscribers know, ideal opportunities come about every few days, about 5-10/month, in the land of PennyStocking. You can bet every now and then I will take vacations, which will impact my trading, although I’ll always be on the lookout for potential trades–as you witnessed during my recent trip to Japan (see it HERE).
And for those of you who don’t know, I’m a fit, well semi-fit (getting better each day thanks to the girlfriend!), 27 year-old so you’re probly looking at 50+ years of trade alerts and stock market commentary. Considering my track record–$12k to $2 million 1999-2002, #1 ranked short bias hedge fund manager 2003-2006, one bad investment that tanked my fund 35% but made me infinitely wiser, now 100%+ return in the last 9 months and total domination of the performance rankings on the social networking site Covestor (see rankings HERE), I’m guessing the entire fee will be paid for with 1-2 good trades, although of course PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT INDICATIVE, OR AT LEAST PERFECTLY INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RETURNS.
Ironically, my former #1 hater Michael Goode who, as I detailed in THIS post, was the first to buy my most expensive product offering, the PennyStocking DVD + annual subscription to TIMalerts combo deal (check it out HERE!), after initially writing the now infamous post “Timothy Sykes if full of bullship” post HERE is the first TIMalert lifetime member.
Mr. Goode writes in THIS post explaining why he coughed up $2k to become the first TIMalerts lifetime member:
First, I have concluded that at least at the present time Sykes’ trading system works quite well. This does not mean that it will necessarily continue to work, and anyone using his system should not put blind faith in it. That being said, the basic premise of short-selling hyped-up stocks should continue to be successful far in the future, although the details of how best to do that will certainly change. I believe in Sykes’ system enough to trade a decent amount of money with it, and so far I have made quite a bit of money trading his system
…blah blah lots more, click the above link to read the rest of it. Basically, the guy’s made $20,000 in a few months off my picks/system so he was feeling generous. I encourage anybody else who’s made a ton off my stuff to be similarly generous.
Let me know if you have any questions…
I’m Rooting For Hurricane Gustav, I’ll Tell You Why…

How To Spend Trading/Blogging Profits: My 7-Day $11,000 Trip To Japan
Posted by timothysykes on Tue 19th of Aug, 2008 03:24:28 PMBy now you guys know that I’m a workaholic who’s been steadily growing his biz so I can proudly say this blog made $45k last month (see detailed breakdown HERE)…and as I’ve been preparing you guys for the last few weeks, I’m taking a trip–business vacation as I’m gonna get some good content to write for AOL Blogging Stocks, this site (and wheoever else wants anything from me!)–with my girlfriend to Japan August 20-September 1st.
I’ll still be doing TIMalerts each and every day, don’t you worry, I’m an addict, but please don’t email me questions – actually only if they’re about TIMalerts or my PennyStocking DVD (biz first!) – cuz it’s gonna be hard enough trying to manage my vacation/trading while working with a 14 hour time difference.
So I thought you’d like to know exactly what I’m doing—I’m bringing my newly acquired bad ass Flip Video (check out this beauty HERE) so we’ll have clips galore–but for now here’s my itinerary, basically wannabe-FU money, $11,000 blown in 7 days on extravagant hotels, meals and cool destinations….Jewww yeahhhhhh!
If you’re gonna work hard, you gotta enjoy the rewards:
Aug 20-21: $4,000ish Air Canada 2 people, 3 flight segments, only took a few days worth of research to find the Jewiest combo deal for 2 people, gotta go cheap on the 17 hour flight, aka no biz class, save $10k+, just gonna be full of Nyquil anyway
Aug 21-23: $500/night=$1,000 2 Nights at the Tokyo Ritz Carlton, 50th Floor, awesome views of the city, right in Roppongi aka the Rodeo Drive-like nice area, all around pimpest hotel chain, not just BS Trump-esque glitter either, these guys always come through, if all my readers weren’t so poor, I’d look to get sponsored by them in a heartbeat, as the spoiled Jew I am, I always look to book there. You hear me Ritz peeps! Look at that pool:

Pondering Offering A Lifetime TIMalerts Subscription Option…
Posted by timothysykes on Thu 14th of Aug, 2008 04:04:20 PMWith my latest massive short selling TIMalert victory on APII, which is now down 45%+ on the day (detailed post with some ridiculously awesome testimonials coming tonight), I jokingly Twittered HERE and commented:
covered $APII for monster 25% overnight gains, now accepting lifetime TIMalert subscriptions http://www.timalerts.com
…and this is how my one-time greatest hater, Michael Goode, immortalized by his now classic “Timothy Sykes is full of bullship” blog post (read it HERE)-turned-greatest-fan (evidenced by THIS post) responded:

If You’re In/Near NYC, Help Me Make A Music Video This Saturday Morning!
Posted by timothysykes on Thu 14th of Aug, 2008 11:59:28 AMI’ve mentioned it a few times and we’ve already tried filming it once, but that fell apart–the camera guy never showed!–so this Saturday at 8AM we’re shooting a music video for my spoof on the classic video “You Gotta Fight For Your Right To Party” (which you can watch HERE) aimed at finance people/traders and anybody who detests the absurd industry regulations as much I do.
Basically, I need some extras to film something similar to the pie throwing scene at the end the of the video, but instead of pies, we’ll all be throwing around fake money down on Wall Street (if all goes according to plan). We’re all gonna meet down on Wall Street, if you’re game, contact me HERE and I’ll tell you all the particulars.
We’ve got a kick ass song, videographer, producer and a few others so hopefully we can top THIS pretty sweet trading music video.
