Texas Pacific Land Trust (TPL) is the boring illiquid stock I shorted at 29.80ish and I plan to hold for several days if not weeks because Stansberry Research wrote a massive research report that spiked the stock from 27 to 30 and we know form past Stansberry pumps that they almost always fail…very low risk to short such a sleepy company up so much due to such questionable stock pickers…remember Stansberry’s $1.5 million SEC fine? Google it—it’s too bad they don’t promote it as much as they promote their picks for then they might have a shot at getting into heaven…unfortunately, given their marketing methods, that shot is gone, I’m looking to cover in the mid to low 28s and I will try to give it time to get there.
HSW International, Inc. (HSWI) performed a rather exact double top in the high 7s mostly due to the fact that they haven’t followed up their previous “breakout” with any new news, probly because they’re scared of hyping too much as the SEC I’m guessing is already looking into this questionable runup…no play now, still a potential buy on any breakout above 8 with the right volume/catalyst.
China Architectural Engineering, Inc. (CAEI) did absolutely nothing, as expected and the only reason its still a potential buy is because this new online gaming company run by an industry veteran…it’s gonna drop off my daily watchlist because it’ll likely take weeks if not months to do anything but always keep an eye on it for news and volume as this could easily double from here…no, I won
Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. (LQMT) just keeps falling now with those dip buyers licking their wounds…do you see me talk about dip buying at all in my DVDs? Nope. Because while I will dip buy every now and them, as I did with LQMT, I’ve never made much money and my exits are very quick, reflecting such low reliability…people don’t realize, it’s still up 100% over what the rich hedge fund paid a few weeks ago—that’s actually quite bullish as most financing deals trade around their financing price…what we need a press release and much more trading volume to reduce the effect of all the dilution/lack of news…
VocalTec Communications Ltd. (CALL) just kept dropping all the way to my initial target of 30 and even further down to 29…Google is now a competitor, very bad for them…I am VERY proud of the handful of subscribers who covered their shorts from the 36s in the 29s, a solid 20% win for you even though I TOTALLY mistimed my exit at 34, too content with making a few thousand dollars and not giving the trade the patience it deserved…no real play now, this thing has fallen a ton and a bounce is possible.
Vista Gold Corp. (VGZ) is nearly a double off its recent 1.30ish lows now to the low 2s…gold discovery plays don’t interest me much and this one has consolidated along the way so I’m not raving about how I will short it right away, just a potential short in the coming days.
Zagg Inc (ZAGG) dropped pretty much from the get go as longterm bagholders didn’t even give it a chance to runup any more…very sad, but I’m hoping this kind of pathetic display of outright pricing weakness encourages the company to be more aggressive with their press releases, perhaps rehire Red Chip!
Evergreen Energy Inc. (EEE) has one of the worst longterm downtrending charts—all way from double digits to just 85 cents/share in the last year—that I’ve seen recently and now its doubled off its lows as people are dip buying…they will likely continue to be incompetent in all aspects of their business so it’s a potential short when the spike fades as does the volume.
CLICKER INC (CLKZ) is a reminder that even the most boring paid ump stocks can collapse quickly so the risk/reward favors shorting heavily and waiting…TIMalerts chatroom moderator Reaper was short big the other day, but got scared out and had to settle for only a small gain when this stock collapsed 30% late yesterday just as previous pumps NXTH, MSEH, AENY, CLRH and dozens more have all done…most CEOs blame short sellers, some like MSEH and NXTH’s CEOs even go so far as to blame me publicly…the truth is this is how paid promo stocks collapse when there’s no $ left to promote them…everyone should go watch Boiler Room again, this stock is a likely zero, potential short, ideally on any dead pump bounce.
