Emerson Radio Corp. (MSN) did spike just under 20% on the day due to solid earnings, but instead of any afternoon ramp which would have signaled this could be a multi-day runner, the stock faded all afternoon, even as the overall market spiked…not exactly price action I want to buy into, potential buy if it can ever get its act together, but not looking good so far.
Green Oasis Environmental (GRNO) the breakout has now failed as the stock dropped 15% and now it looking like a probable double top around 60 cents/share…boring penny games, where did Jarret Wollstein go? We need him back, these other promoters are about as competent as a BP CEO/FEMA director.
HSW International, Inc. (HSWI) dropped 10% on the day and there was a short opportunity if you were quick near the market open when it was unchanged…I tried to get executed, but it dropped too quickly…glad some subscribers profited, probable further downside, but not sure how much given the price action and probable coming illiquidity…as we know from NEXMD sometimes these spikes have a few more squeezes left in them, conservative potential short.
NexMed, Inc. (NEXMD) got a little more illiquid and dropped a few cents/share more but it still holding the key $3 technical support, no doubt helped by the inability of short sellers to find more shares and the threat of buy ins on current shorts holds this Weekened At Bernies-type carcass up…for now…look at a chart of HAUP and see how this will likely fade, potential short.
InfoLogix, Inc. (IFLG) has now lost all its recent spikes gains in just three days meaning it joins the ranks of failed hypesters ESPH and ZANE as most incompetent stocks in America…five failed spikes in as many months means this stock can now be called the Lindsay Lohan of the stock market and Lindsay is going away to jail just as this is likely now to endure a heartbreaking but predictable fade into oblivion. Potential short, but watch out for paparazzi-induced (press release) spikes.
Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ARNA) , VIVUS, Inc. (VVUS), Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc. (OREX) are involved in the fight to create the perfect fat pill and all three stocks were al over the place due to news and VVUS failing to get FDA approval…I will not trade such speculation and unpredictability, sorry, enjoy the casino guys, not my kind of a setup at all although I was tempted to buy ARNA on the dip in the 3s…disciplined, I held back, no matter if it was the right call…it’s not a trade I should be doing or teaching.
NAUTILUS MINERALS IN (NUSMF) dropped a few more cents/share as it simply cannot bounce as the newsletter that pumped it, Stansberry is caught between trying to protect its subscribers who are in at higher prices thanks to their marketing and the fact that this company is a skunk and all it wants to do is roll over and die. C’mon Stansberry & co., please don’t be a one promotion wonder, support your initial effort and give us short sellers another chance to short into a phony spike! Potential short.

L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc. (ID) I was flat out wrong to short this at 8.38, mistakenly attributing the intraday spike to a late pickup of the useless morning news…what can I say, I’m human and I make mistakes, simply read the wrong headline…fortunately, I got out basically breakeven as I’m very thankful to those in the chatroom who immediately and rightly jumped on me for my naivety…no play on takeover speculation plays, once again, I’m truly sorry.
