If you want to profit from my strategy (which as TIMalert subscribers and new PennyStocking Silver Subscribers know is up 20% in 2010 after being up 141% in 2009 and 197% in 2008 and I’m still the #1 trader out of 45,000+ on Covestor for the 3rd straight year…and 3 of my students are in the top 10), you’ll have to wake up early tomorrow to try to reserve shares to short with the brokers I use and recommend, Sogotrade and Thinkorswim, of the latest "gimme", a stock which skyrocketed 140% today just one day after they received a letter from the NASDAQ saying they’re likely to be delisted for failing to satisfy their listing demands (only the worst stocks get these delisting notifications).
I think this stock’s absurd one-day spike offers a great shorting opportunity as nothing beats betting against the worst companies in world at high prices…same philosophy as buying great companies at discount prices (see my original PennyStocking DVD and PennyStocking Part Deux DVD to learn how this strategy works), just flip-flopped like a politician. And since there’s still a chance this stock could rise one or even two days more before reality sets in, there may still be time to capture this opportunity.
Now since this is a small company, I don’t want to be accused of trying to push the price down with my whole email list, so only TIMalert subscribers and PennyStocking Silver subscribers know what stock I am talking about as they were notified within seconds via IM, text message, email, blog and chatroom of my shorting 3,000 shares today when it was up over 200% (I held my position overnight and am already up $1,500ish), as several subscribers have banked nicely already:
