Force Protection Inc. (FRPT) had a great morning spike from 6.20 to 6.70, great follow through finally on one of these earnings breakout plays…I didn’t touch it, but it’s good to see this pattern finally working, means it could work on the next smallcap that displays this price action, make a mental note.
OccuLogix, Inc. (TEAR) ultimately finished down, but there was no morning panic, it was a morning spike…as you see in my DVDs, namely PennyStocking Part Deux and TIMfundamentals Part Deux, failed breakdowns squeeze shorts…it’s not a “TIMalerts effect” and it’s sad that I must continually point this out as I didn’t even trade this stock and yet I still get blamed…no play now, just look at the 2 day chart and learn from its choppiness.
Vermillion Inc. (VRML) faded gradually all day after the lackluster news wasn’t picked up by any big media…quite the buy the rumor, sell the news scenario, off my watchlist until they get liquid/exciting.
Zannett Inc. (ZANE) had its first down day, but didn’t collapse the way I expected….soooo slow, but the overhead resistence becomes stronger every day, each spike is weaker and weaker, now I think we’re ready for a morning panic to the mid to low 2s…I am short nicely overnight looking to cover into said panic…made $5,500 today even as I messed up my trades and my internet got all messed up…mistakes will happen, I will always minimize trades when the trade setup or my computer setup isn’t ideal.
Americas Energy Company (AENY) I am still short 10,000 shares but the stock bounced a bit…tough call as the risk is my short gets bought in as happened once or twice before but the reward is it’s likely to drop 50 cents/share or more in the coming days/weeks as the promotional mailers have ceased and all of Wollstein’s promotional stocks are getting crushed, namely JYHW and NXTH…I like my odds, especially with the possibility of being able to cover into a morning panic one of these days.
