Bought 5000 Americas Energy Company (AENY) at 2.80…I kept the position small since its a sketchy little company, but the chart is a clear breakout on strong volume and actually decent news today…methinks a promotion is in the works…maybe overnight…maybe this turns into a 2-3 day runner to 4? All just speculation, but the odds and intraday chart seem good that it will retest highs just under 3 today or tomorrow and gap higher to the low 3s or even mid 3s by tomorrow morn…mental stop loss if it doesnt close high today
…unfortunately the market was ugly the next day, like an old man returning soup in a deli so I notified TIMalert subscribers:
Sold 5000 AENY at 3.02ish…disappointing but with the overall market down pretty severely and a lack of solid overnight pumping, I am not chancing staying in this pump and dump one minute longer than I have to…again, I could be playing it waaaaay too safe, and that probably is the case, but that’s how I trade…it would’ve needed to gap or spike in the first 5 minutes above yesterday’s high of 3.10 to make me more confident to stay in it, as it is we got a decent spike, but nothing major, congrats to all who profited on this one, win or lose, please post your results on TIMalerts.com!
PS I say like Reaper because he has posted 2 videos in a row whining about how he only $1,000 on 2 trades….we should all be so “sad” to only make $1,000/day

So I made basically $1,100ish for buying a breakout and holding overnight…even though it didn’t go the way I wanted, it was a nice risk/reward play and several TIMalert subscribers profited just shy of $4,000:
out AENY at 3.05, nice $1250 gain
