TIM trading account—now stands at $73,775, no trades, no positions, account is up 8% in August, up 73% in 2009 and up 494% in the last 22 months
Longer Term Account $55,470, lost $800 in 10 minutes on Vg, very unlucky that buyout rumors swirled right as I shorted., cut losses quickly…account is up 13% since May 2009 inception…this account can be auto-traded by subscribing HERE
Tough day for TIMalert subscribers as I shorted VG right before rumors of a buyout “hit” and the overall market spiked…very unlucky, but it does happen…quickest $800 I ever lost…looks like many TIMalert subscribers have learned to cut losses quickly—gooooood! Fortunately enough more TIMalert subscribers played all sorts of other hot penny stocks and profited nicely…total profit on the day was still $5,500+
Made $110 buying SLCN yesterday and then shorting it today on the way down! The dvd’s are helping a LOT…Thanks Tim! -Southern Trader

Tim, Love your discpline. I covered for 5cents on 3000 shares. $150.00 profit I will wait and see. -RQTDI v Shorted VG @ $1.44 and added to the short at $1.64. Covered entire position at $1.45 for a $300 profit. -Adam N.
Tim, Today 9-01-09 is maybe the finest pre-market list ever. Made about $1100 in profits on HLCS short and still holding 3000 DRJ shares short at 1.47. Anyone who did not make money today should be required to buy a DVD or have their membership cancelled. -zulobb
Saw your short and decided to follow your lead…however, the price was going up before I could get the short sell setup…So i just sat and watched as VG rose to 1.66 before shorting…I covered at 3:50PM for 1.43 making a nice $300.00 plus… -carl
VG I shorted 4000 shares at $1.40 near the market open thinking it’d take out $1.35 support…even if it did, it wouldn’t have mattered because minutes later several sources covered the stock: Vonage spikes to session highs as rumor circulates suggesting AT&T could be interested in buying co (1.54 +0.11)….Very unlucky for me, but that is the market, does no good to whine about it…I covered at $1.60 just like I said I would if it spiked (and in my initial alert I said the risk was news)…quickest $800 I ever lost, but it wasn’t that bad an $800 because without the news, we could’ve had a morning panic down to $1…lesson here is touching buyout plays is risky…still up overall on my VG trades, as are most, if not all TIMalert subscribers, which is why we cut losses so quickly and not risk disaster, even if time to time we do play it a little too safe…now I’m not touching it until the volume really fades and it’s a perrrrfect breakdown…PS afterours the stock is over $2 on iTunes news, that’s why we cut losses quickly folks! In terms of losses, this was a great loss!
SCLN is the worst part about my VG trade because as I was losing $800 on VG, this one broke out perfectly past $5 to $5.30, making it a buying opportunity lost for me…good news is that many TIMalert subscribers prefer buying instead of shorting so they ignored my VG trade and bought and flipped this one for quick easy profits (which is why you MUST read my premarket watchlist every day)
BONU I was dying to find some shares to short in the $3 range…now even at $2.50 its gonna be a great short over the next few days/weeks, even the stock promoters admit it’s the top (you know its bad when people getting paid to push the stock up say they can’t push it up anymore
CPRX dropped 23% yesterday when people realized the 200%+ runup was on weak news..good short if you found the available shares quickly, but it opened down big on the day, so the potential profit was only 10-15 cents/share…still a potential short for another 15 cents/share, probly isn’t wort my time though…my girlfriend shorted it at $1.14 as I posted on the TIMalerts.com website
YMI & DRJ are two perfect PennyStocking plays for TIMalert subscribers only!
SVA had another up day yesterday, but only 8% to $10.50ish on massive volume of 43 million shares traded…shorts learned the hard way that active stocks like this don’t often collapse easily as there was a big mid-day short squeeze, which eventually failed…makes me think we’ll see some more squeezing, but it should start to fade in the next few days. Yesterday’s low of $10/share is obviously key technical support, I’ll look to short around there with the goal of covering in the mid-to-low $9s, but be careful of fakeouts at that area too!
