Encorium Group Inc. (ENCO) jumped from 25 cents/share to $1.25 on swine flu contract win 2 days ago, now its faded to 75 cents/share, but its holding there…action will probly be choppy around here, just like RVP which had similar news and price action…potential short though
Opexa Therapeutics Inc. (OPXA) I was tempted to short all day, but it never went red on the day, spiking in the morning just as it did the previous day and spiking in the afternoon due to shorts anticipating another morning spike tomorrow (as I explained on LiveStock)…the stock closed at $4.26, up a quarter on the day, now there is 2 days worth of technical support in the $3.90 area, that’s the area which has to get taken out to get me to short, no matter how BS the news is. Morning spike possible tomorrow which could offer decent shorting for those quick and lucky enough to catch the top (not me)
Bare Escentuals, Inc. (BARE) is a 5-month breakout above $10/share, this is its 4th try and while it looks like its succeeding, the stock moves so slowly, it’s tough for me to truly consider buying, reminds me of KFRC, whose breakout went pretty much nowhere…still a potential buy though
XSUNX, Inc. (XSNX) I detailed the entire trade setup in this blog post…covered at 15.8 cents/share mainly because it was near my initial exit target price and because I don’t know if they’ll be more pumping in the upcoming days…easy, easy, easy 25% gain within a few hours, congrats to the few others who also shorted, we await the next pump & dump from this guy!
Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group Inc. (RODM), as I suspected the night before, had its first down day today. When a marketing company, don’t kid yourselves, this has nothing to do with finance, these guys are pure marketers, hold a conference, all the hype goes into the opening of that conference….then the hype fades…potential short except we can assume business is booming and if it is, the stock is still cheap…conflicting variables keep me on the sidelines, potential buy still if it has solid good news and can break above $5.70 on strong volume (I hesitate because I feel any breakout attempt might be ZAGG-like which famous tried and failed several times before their financial feces hitting the fan).

JAZZ, for the first time in 3 days, broke below the key $10 support level, closing at $9.99…technically, it’s a great short, but remember I’m a very scared trader and this stock tends to spike in the morning…potential short still, especially for those who like risk as there’s no real support until $9
VIVUS, Inc. (VVUS) tried to do a big biotech breakout above $12.50 early this morning, but the breakout failed and the stock closed at $12ish, pretty much flat on the day…late day fading action and a failed breakout makes this a potential short, but the news is overwhelmingly positive so I just watch…for now.
