Watch these 7 free video lessons on how I became a millionaire

This was sent to TIMalert subscribers at 8am EST:

Check me out featured in the NY Post calling SPNG a pump & dump just before the SEC and standard accounting practices arrives on the scene

TIM trading account—now stands at $73,733, no positions, no trades, I’m flat for the month, very disappointing, still up 73% in 2009 and up 494% in the last 22 months

Longer Term Account $153,364, no shares of GVBP to short is disappointing and I also lost $400ish on OPXA, no positions now…account is up 8% since May 1st, 2009 inception…this account can be auto-traded by subscribing HERE

Just another great day for TIMalert subscribers, up $63,000+, mainly due to people playing the pump & dump GVBP soooo many different ways….very impressive guys!

Made 33% off CVM yesterday $1800 from $1.17 to $1.73.

-Preston

just made $1300 of this stock…thanks tim!

-ARJ

made a quick $320 buying selling gvbp

-MK

I made around $6000 covering at an average price of $0.51. I wish I could have shorted more, but reserving 10K shares at $1.50 was holding up $15K in my account for over a week so I didn’t want to risk anymore considering the possibility of it gapping over $1.50 and the limit order executing early.
-SRT

As a direct result of TIMalerts I just banked $5,585.48 since yesterday afternoon. It has been a long 25 minute day and I am going to take the rest of it off, maybe have margaritas.

Vermillion, Inc. (VRMLQ) dropped 20% to $2ish yesterday, now down from $4.5…this is the kind of % drop GVBP will liely have over the next few days, no shares to short on this one either…tough to find shares to short of gimmes…if and when I do, I’m gonna take Lionmaster’s suggestion and hedge my shorts with longs in another account, and sell out my long position when I want to short (woulda worked like a charm on GVBP, lesson learned)

Opexa Therapeutics Inc. (OPXA) I bought 4,000 shares at $4.17 because I thought the spike into which I bought or some other one yesterday or today would be a massive spike since this stock has proven it wants to hold $4…unfortunately, the big spike hasn’t come yet and I sucked up a quick loss…this is straight up technical’s now, still a potential buy if it can keep holding $4 and basing a few pennies higher each day (beware of market makers taking out the bids just to shake the weak longs from this stock)

Genova Biotherapeutics, Inc. (GVBP) got the morning tank that I predicted/wanted, dropping 70% in the morning, oh how I wanted 5,000, 10,000, or even 50,000 shares to short, coulda woulda shoulda been an easy gain, but as I predicted the previous day, there’d be nos hares to short when the perfect time came so my initial entry at 42 cents/share would still be down, but I’d have the shares and I’d hold them as this scam got exposed in the coming days and weeks…not worth more than 5-10 cents/share, but I hope to find shares to short and even moreso, some more pumping so I can short at higher prices! My guess is there is a 30-50% chance of the SEC halting this and asking for more info…you just can’t blatantly lie in PRs the way these scumbags do.

Spongetech Delivery Systems, Inc. (SPNG) dropped 7% to 11 cents/share which isn’t exciting, but its due to them delaying the filing of their quarterly report…looks like their old accountants are too happy, I love saying I told you so, but who cares, the stock isn’t up enough to warrant me shorting, even if this news does poke a massive hole in their ability to manipulate others into believing this company is real…wake up and smell the stench…I might short some for the longterm, this stock, like their sponges, will be worthless or very close to it…the NY Post ran a story detailing SPNG’s sketchiness featuring yours truly http://bit.ly/1VTdzN

Spherix Incorporated (SPEX) spiked from $1.50 to $2.50 yesterday with no news and faded to $2 by the end of the day…after-effects of Rodman conference? Hmmm, who knows…potential shor ton any further strength, this one has been a greatly consistent down-after-spiking- play in the past, but obviously the risk is some news is forthcoming, careful.

Keryx Biopharmaceuticals (KERX) had positive drug news and spiked 43% on volume of 36 million, this one gapped immediately on the news and pretty much held its gains meaning its not traders who are pushing the stock up, the move is real

VeriChip Corporation (CHIP) spiked 80 cents/share to $1.2 on news they’re gonna create a swine flu detection device…zzzzz, color me not impressed…this is a perennial stinker, potential short on any further upside although given the new approach to swine flu, it might run a few days before the drop

    Lesson in hype …

Barry Ritholtz says: “Most of the guys that spread these rumors are clueless retail brokers, dart throwers, collectors of hype, innuendo and other poor bases for making financial decisions.”

^ That is a GREAT article and validates everything discussed on this blog. Watch DHI, although it doesn’t play into TIM’s strategy it has been a fantastic short at $16 ish

  • Steve

Tim, how do you deal with thinkorswim not having time & sales data?

  • NeilTheRealDeal

what the hell is the post from truth?

  • spud

    tim you advertise FAPS
    tell us more
    does it work?
is it essentially a Quant program for retailers???
you should demo it for us all and tell us how it does for you-robots do work for no pay-sounds too good to be true-i hear big funds use robots also

  • spud

how does one robot outsmart another? can a robot scan whole market in realtime finding which stock to trade????????????? we wanna know!

  • NeilTheRealDeal

I’m pretty sure Tim doesn’t use robots. If you read some of his past blogs you’ll see that. He has a “Useful Posts” section in his forums telling how he finds his stocks.

    Another lesson in hype …

“A related shenanigan is the chief executive officer who goes on television to talk about his companys stock. J. Felix Meschke, a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University, finds in his paper CEO Interviews on CNBC — based on the 3,641 CEO interviews between 1999 and 2001 — that the average performance of a companies shares on the day of an interview was up 1.65%. In the 10 days after the interview, the average performance was down 2.78%.”

I saw you had MALL on your watchlist. Did you also noctice the chart of VVTV? Its EXACTLY the same pattern as MALL.

    Tim,
I have exactly the same problem with closing early only to find that the market then goes the way I was hoping. I think the solution I am trying to aim for is to close one lot when there is a temporary level to take profit. The second lot, after markets have moved your direction enough to move the stop to entry and then try and ride it.
This is great in theory but I am only dealing in 1 lot sizes as that’s all I’m allowed to trade until my trading academy sees that I am consistent and allows me more than just the one.
The only way I am going to be able to increase is consistency!! They rather me make 10 prices every day than 1 day 40 lots and then a minus 20 the next etc.
    Regards
    Alan

  • NeilTheRealDeal

Alan what is this trading academy?

    Tim,

You just got a referral from my sister’s newly opened TOS account. Congrats! You Rock!

(disclaimer: Money received from referral should be used to purchase either nice pajama pants or beer.)

  • timsykes

    Cool thanks Evan!

Yup, I’ve seen VVTV writing a post about all of them…

Never use trading robots, all thee ones I see advertised are TOTAL scams

Getting out too early isn’t that bad, just gotta focus less and let it ride sometimes
