TIMalert subscribers made $4,500ish yesterday, I got lucky by my impatience and lack of confidence lately due to recent losses making me take quick gains, as I said I might in yesterday’s premarket watchlist, but the news that sunk the stock was pretty unpredictable. My apologies to those of you who can’t trade premarket, but when you go to war and you have time restrictions on when you can fire your weapon, well, you’re asking to get injured or killed. The analogy works. Gotta be quick in this game…other than true pump & dumps like GVBP where I can hold that thing short forever…I’ll try to differentiate between true “gimmes” from speculative trades in the future.
My apologies also for my websites sucking…working on it all day, problem is we have too many outdated plugins on the site….we have a brand new site in PennyStocking.com coming within 1-2 weeks that will be perfect…I promise….that’s right I promise perfection.

GETA and CVM are two $1-$2ish sketchy biotech companies, both spiking up 150% or so on massive volumes of 10+ million shares/each day for about a week now. CVM finally cracked 10% today, but it could just be consolidation, while GETA surged another 10% showing little signs of stopping…for these stocks with tons of bitter longterm shareholders, it’s just a waiting game for the volume to fade and then they’ll both make great shorts.
GVBP got halted by the SEC right at the market open, as I kinda expected and probly helped a bit with my research…my 3,000 shares short will fetch me an extra $700ish if and when it reopens probly at a penny or so…seriously guys, this was a true gimme and those don’t come around very often. Obviously I coulda played it better, but I’ll walk away with $3,000ish in profits and TIMalert subscribers profits are currently $50,000ish (even after the first round of losses) and some of you still have big positions…congrats all around, this was a clear win and a lesson that you will not soon forget. We’ll check back when the trading resumes, if ever.
Rentech, Inc. (RTK) I sold 4,000 at $2.11 from the get go just to get a decent gain into my trading account after several losses..now I’ve made back all my losses from last week to breakeven on the month and I’m even up $3,000 or so in my auto-tradeable account this month…my apologies to those who can’t trade premarket, but never ever go into a battle you can’t get out of quickly if something goes wrong. Reminds me of people who trade even though they have no day trades left so no matter what happens, they must hold overnight…very tough way to trade, especially these kinds of stocks…maybe you guys should just auto-trade my account instead. I got very lucky that my impatience/greed made me miss RTK’s financing news by about an hour…news is unpredictable and I’m actually surprised RTK got such a high price, but dilution is dilution…half TIMalert subscribers profited nicely, the other half took 5-10 losses, all things considered, not too bad…great lesson for all, what a great trade, risk-reward-wise…now there’s no play unless this can power through the $2.05-$2.10 area on strong volume as then I’d buy again.

Opexa Therapeutics Inc. (OPXA) got paid a nice chunk of change from one of their deals and the stock spiked past $4+ only to fade all day since the news was expected. I really don’t feel like trading this cursed stock, way too choppy, but I am watching it.

AMCORE Financial, Inc. (AMFI) has surged form $1.25 to $2.25 in a few days, but has already started to fade to $2ish…might get some early strength tomorrow, but this could really rollover, down to $1.75ish support, potential support, straight technical play
AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (ASIA) has been uptrending hardcore and today’s $1+ jump to $20.63 brings it within range of taking out the highs at $22…it’ll either be a great breakout there or a top in the same vein as Diedrich Coffee Inc. (DDRX), potential buy or short depending on price action.

Interleukin Genetics, Inc (ILI) is the latest biotech winner, up 270% today (don’t try to predict these moves, the odds of hitting a winner are very low)…like yesterday’s BSD Medical Corp. (BSDM) this one faded nicely late day to form solid resistance at $2…potential short, but BSDM today proved how boring these big winners can be the next day as it barely budged in the high $3s
Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group Inc. (RODM) keeps knock, knock, knockin’ on breakouts’ door…can’t seem to break the $5.50-$5.75 area though, while they keep leading financing deals leading to a monster quarter, the risk of lawsuits due to their dealings with toxic financings is always in the background…if and when it finally does power above $5.75 on strong volume, I might buy as that could signal $6-$7-$8 in annoying-fakeout Caribou Coffee Company, Inc. (CBOU) –like fashion.
GTN faded perfectly all day from $3 to $2.60…screw RTK, this is the one I coulda woulda shoulda been in, its choppy price action simply faked me out…can’t wait to find a smoothly downtrending stock to short soon.
