SOLD 600 SCLN @ 4.8266, $100ish profits since 3:30 yesterday from 4.68

SCLN I gave a chance to get to my $4.99 target, but within a few minutes of the market open, its inability to break through the wall of sellers at $4.85 got me scared and the fact that was there was a 20,000 share buy at $4.80 that was gradually getting chipped away, well, the price action forced me to take profits…that’s how I roll, I get out when the price action tells me to…considering the stock later dropped 10% to the $4.40s, this is no longer a breakout past $4.50, but possible a double top…you never know until it’s too late, that’s why I exit early…nice profits, TIMalert subscribers ended up making $7,000+ on this one, congrats to you winners, lesson learned for those who aren’t quick. PS For those who think I got out too quickly, rubbish! Swine flu stocks like NVAX and BCRX also tanked (SCLN held up the best out of all, actually holding the $.450 breakout level by market close), sometimes, sector strength just doesn’t last, gotta be ready to exit quickly and for those with guts, some TIMalert subscribers have had great success using my sell alerts as short sell alerts, as this would’ve worked nicely here…next!
Vonage Holdings Corp. (VG) I shorted 3000 shares at $2.27 premarket yesterday when Interactive Brokers finally had shares to short…it was risky since a morning gap/spike was possible, but the sellers were determined and the stock faded nicely all day…plenty of shares to short now and since the stock is up from 45 cents/share and the volume is fading hardcore, I look to cover my short today or tomorrow into panic selling, ideally in the $1.25-$1.50 range…yes, I expect this to really tank, and my already profits of $840 are just the beginning….seen this pattern a million times, again, its my original PennyStocking DVDs focus.
Nextwave Wireless Inc. (WAVE) ran up 200% on Vg-hype, it tanked 30% from the get go yesterday or else I would’ve shorted some…yup, if you’re gonna short these high fliers when the hype fades in the morning, usually the dips are gonna be quick.
Atlantis Technology Group (ATNO) is a Supernova-esque pattern, up from 1 cent/share to 4 cents/share in 3 days, also in the VG sector, I just don’t feel like trying to trade 10 million shares, price is waaaay too low, just remember this pattern and know that I’ll usually look short it just as I did with VG
YM BioSciences Inc. (USA) (YMI) is the latest Supernova-esque looking chart, just another crappy biotech, up from $1 to $2 in a few days…3 days in a row of morning spikes, then flat price action, I’ll look to short tomorrow on any crack of sideways price action, ideally afternoon fading
American International Group, Inc. (AIG) is a $48 stock now, up $10 yesterday, but the chart is all about Pennystocking…those who have watched my original Pennystocking DVD know this to be a Supernova….it’s still a potential buy not a short as this is a true breakout, although risky obviously
Immunomedics, Inc. (IMMU) had a nice big breakout day, up 60% to $7ish on positive drug news on 30 million shares traded….the stock gapped up from the get go, no real good intraday chart pattern to play, potential buy if over $7.15, potential short under $6….yes, you can play both ways, but I fear either a breakdown or breakout will be choppy/full of fakeouts, so I’m just watching
Viral Genetics, Inc. (VRAL), contrary to some message board posts and rumors, I ain’t buying this pump & dump on this pump around…the stock promoters behind it are simply too incompetent to get the stock up enough to merit my attention…if VRAL wants their stock up, they should hire the people behind JEDM (which has now dropped 70% off its 30 cents/share highs, just like every other pump & dump until the end of time)
