I have learned a lot of great information from you. I have learned the technical analyst and chart patterns to look for in a stock. I am going to buy your Penny Stocking Part Deux in the near future.
    I have been fallowing you for about two months. I have been trading along side you for the past month. I work on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so I have missed some good trades on Mondays.     I use to watch Jim Cramer and The Fast Money Crew on CNBC. I found you, the Lion, and Superman, so I have not watched one show of Jim Cramer or The Fast Money Crew. I use to watch CNBC all the time, but I don’t anymore. I lost $15,000 in the market fallowing them. Moreover, I am going to get all my money back from my losses that occured from 2007-2009 and profit in the near future. I have already started profiting from you and the Lion.

    What kind of opportunity cost is that? Buy my DvD’s, subscribe to my service, spend hours every day doing research and trading in order to make the grand sum of $2900 a year? Would $2900 even cover your materials and service? (By the way, I am a proud customer and subscriber)

    If that’s the best the average guy can do with your strategy, then they might as well give up and spend their time on a more profitable pursuit. Yes there are guys like you and Michael Goode who make very respectable amounts, but this just enforces what is already true: The vast majority make zilch and the small minority make a killing. So in retrospect, your strategy does nothing to eliminate this basic inequality.

    (Watch how Tim will retort back saying that the majority of traders don’t make a profit, and the majority of newsletters are scams)

    I’m a subscriber myself but there’s another huge bias here. Basically, people who make gains are more likely to report their P/L then people who don’t make gains. Thus, the average person probably makes even less than what these stats indicate.

    No watch Tim retort back that this is the main problem with PennyStocking, its not scalable…but that doesnt mean someone pay $50/motnh and making $200-500/month is getting a bad deal…not sure where you came up with the $2900 figure, but my most expensive package is only $2k and that can be made back in one decent trade..nice math skills, you just helped me prove what kind of geniuses there are down here in the gutter and why that makes it easier, thanks!

    actually yngvai, i have dozens of subscribers who email me personally and dont want their numbers published…i’ve got 5 guys over $100,000 in profits..the main people who report have small accounts and are happy/proud of their numbers

    6 months of trading the average guy made $1450 according to your stats above. So over 12 months (or a year) that would be $2900…1450 (average profit) x 2 (because we want it over a year not half a year) = 2900, pretty basic stuff.

    By the way, you are 100% right that $50 a month to make $200 is IS A GOOD DEAL. Quite possibly the best deal anywhere on the internet, but that was not the point I was making. I said that when you take the real opportunity cost of buying all of your materials, learning it all, doing nightly research and trading 5 days a week, it no longer becomes a profitable pursuit.

    These numbers mean absolutely nothing. Only percentages matter for trading. If you made $500 profit on $500 then you’re doing good. If you made $500 profit on $10000 in 6 months then you suck.
    Also,short term capital gains taxes are gonna make some of these figures even more pathetic.
