As you scroll through the comments, I think you’ll find it interesting, as I did, what these mainly options traders (as that’s what Thinkorswim is really known for) think about penny stocks and my strategy (although I couldn’t really go in depth like my instructional DVDs so):

    The problem is that you guys are trading an illiquid stock.. Tims subscriber base is large enough that he creates his own market. I subscribe to Tim alerts and just watch, i dont trade Tims stocks but am intrigued by watching the influence in price action he makes with his buy/sell calls . Such as OHB who douche obviously lost on and im sure others late to the stage did as well. Watching Tims short call created a large increase in volume and sell off shortly after @ 3. Thus his buy to cover call created a large spike in volume and the stock price jumped from 2.80's to 3.5's . If your not the first to short or cover in on an alert then likely you missed the profit train on the short call, or are gonna get screwed on the buy to cover call. Thus this volatility was created by the dump and then pump @ this website.. This volatility most likely wouldn't have occurred without tims influence. If your following tims alerts on an illiquid stock (which most are) then you should definitely be prepared for the risk involved with price manipulation ,large bid/ask spreads, and volatility.

    The real jammy here tim, just check my email. Been away for about three months to try to tackle trading real companies, and even forex- boy oy boy is pennystocking easy!

    With penny stocks you can easily buy breakouts/short breakdowns, but with reeeal companies? no, you can't simply do that, there's retracements, pullbacks, etc etc.
    So i am learning price action trading at the moment, only using trendlines and an EMA, much better than indicator plastered screens.

    Simple is better, and lol penny stocks are so corrupt you can't trade price action of them. Basically all you gotta do with a pump and dump is wait for the gap up, wait for sideways price action and wait for the low to be taken out and boom, it's as easy as that!
    Now why people expect your calls to be dead f****** on all the time is strange to me, do people expect you to have a damn crystal ball?

    As for that blabbering fool talking about tim's calls, you gotta learn stuff first dude, if the setup isn't good then don't enter, it's like listening to a sat-nav telling you to drive into a river- you gotta have some sense !

    I want to know whats the minimum amount of money needed to get in this trading game and if I dont learn all the tricks right off who would be the best person to hire to make my money grow? Everyone wants to talk about how much money they are making but the education piece sucks in my opinion. Some of us are to busy working in other fields to learn exactly how the game works but we have the interest but dont know how to get started. I like that Tim puts out alot of information about his success and progress but Tim think small sometimes to help the people who are as versed as you in this so we to can pick up. Tell me how to start.
    Did that guy say that Tim's girlfriend had a black name, lol thats funny, what is a black name? That was one of the most racist comments I've heard in months and I would think that with all these intelligent people floating around on this site those type of things wouldnt be said.

    $2k is the minimum amount to short basically, start by buying some basic books, search through amazon, read reviews, PLEASE don't click on reports claiming some magic formula, with big underlined bold headlines...aww, i was there doing the same thing a year ago

    Hey CHODE - I -PAY- for your stupid alerts.. You alert me, and I do it.. when you said you cut your losses on DDRX it dropps $2.00 / share before the alert even came in!!!

    The only times you win are from sheep following your calls, and when you bail its too late for everyone else!

    I feel your pain Douche, 25.00 to 23.00 is a very hard fall. I literally was in and out of DDRX in like 20 seconds, fastest $100+ I ever lost. Had I hesitated and even tried to enter anything more complicated than a market order, I'd probably be eating a $600 loss. And yes I got screwed by my broker. OHB was a similar disaster.

    as for sheep following my calls, just in the last 2 weeks CHINA was a massive win, RINO was a massive win, APWR was a massive win and my trades werent even close to perfect...again, attack someone who isnt up 450%, u'll have better luck

    No offense Tim, but you are trading with a tailwind, we subscribers have a headwind, you can't deny that. RINO was a good play but not before it fell 70 cents first, which stopped me out because I was trying to be a responsible trader.

    You can report a profit even though we eat up the losses. And all the tips knowledge in the world can't predict when you send the alert after bailing out on a razor thin 10-20 cent profit.
  • No offense taken, RINO is a real company and I had a nasty loss for 2 days before it finnaly broke out...thats doesnt excuse u for not buying that next breakout at 10.40 and riding just as it doesnt excuse my selling at 10.40.

    what u guys dont seem to understand is that my trading is irrelevent, its just an example to show u guys how i trade...u gotta learn to do it yourselves

    "Buy to cover" alerts can be used as buy signals? So basically you are screwing subscribers over by recommending to also BUY when you alert to cover? So if the person doesnt cover and act quickly, the shorts get fucked? You are a dick dude.. I know you or a friend went long on this thing before covering

    I actually saw exactly what happened. Exactly when I received your email (mind you im on a fast connection with a MS Exchange server, 5ms response time at most) the stock had already jumped 15% fucking percent before ANYONE could attempt to cover. Someone had bought so many shares it tripped the stop loss triggers right before you even hit SEND on your alert. The text message service? That shit came in 2-3 minutes AFTER the email which then the stock was up to 3.56.. you and your ugly ass girlfriend DALLELLA or whatever her black name is probably went long KNOWING it would squeeze. Your just as bad as a stock promoter you jew fuck!

    That is true, I notice that I am always late entering in and exiting but I always thought it was me. As soon as I get the alert, I'm always off by 5 to 10 cents MINIMUM unless its one of those bad picks that pulls back.
  • i do my trade and then send out email/text within seconds of my execution...had u actually studied my study guides, u'd know i trade volatile stocks and thats why i trade them in an ultra-conservative fashion...no different than trying to become a doctor without studying, i hope u've learned your lesson: know the strategy before u trade it
  • my picks suck? attack someone who isn't up 450%...OHB wasnt that bad, a bit of a squeeze but it happens...subscribers are learning there's no one right way, buy-to-cover alerts can be used as buy signals too
