What Exactly Is TIMalerts?

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Sun 28th of Jun, 2009 01:05:40 PM

You have until June 30th to SIGN UP HERE for my TIMalerts real-time trade alerts (not just alerts emailed within seconds of my actual trades, subscribers also receive detailed nightly watchlists of the hottest stocks to watch the upcoming day and access to the chatroom on subscribers-only TIMalerts.com) to lock in current prices of $1/day (or 81 cents/day if you SIGN UP HERE for an annual membership)…afterwards, prices are going up…learn why HERE

There seems to be confusion as to exactly what TIMalerts is—included in your subscription (which you must SIGN UP HERE by June 30th to lock in current prices as they’re going up on July 1st) is access to the TIMalerts.com subscribers-only website which has a blog, tons of blog comments and a chatroom, I send you my daily watchlist the night before trading each day and real-time alerts on any trades I make within seconds of me making them.

When people say “WTF, everyone’s made $ buying CAST, but I didn’t receive an alert on CAST”, that’s because I never did pull the trigger on that one so I couldn’t have very sent out any trading alert! But I did include it in my nightly watchlist (and the predicted morning spike price action was dead on, dead on, dead on) so several TIMalert subscribers bought and they profited because they’ve learned how to trade these stocks from my instructional DVDs (PennyStocking Part Deux specifically outlines how to trade morning spikes) and they traded on their own!!

That’s right, my business model actually encourages you to learn to trade on your own, not just give “buy here, sell here” USELESS-FOR-TRADING-EDUCATION picks.

Sure, sure, I might be up 400%+ in the last 20 months, but I am in no way shape or form a perfect trader…the TIMalerts daily watchlist is important because it captures many great trade ideas, the daily testimonials are important because they show you how people are using the watchlist, actual trade alerts (yes, I do trade and send out an actual trade alert every few days) and education from my instructional DVDs to profit day in day out and no I don’t hide the losses, my #1 rule is cut losses quickly so it’s kinda tough for me or subscribers to have many big losses.

Class dismissed.

  • Thanks for answering guys, yes, the main thing is I'm doing it conservatively this time around as there's no way I'd ever recommend going all in now...obvioulsy times are different today too, perfect plays every 2-4 days, before there were 4-6 PER DAY! Read my book and see all the trade http://www.timothysykes.com/book

You have to remember there was no patern day trading rule to limit your day trade when your account is less then 25k. He also was trading full time not part time. The biggest factor is that he made most of it in one of the greatest bull markets ever before the dot com bust.

Perhaps I am premature in submitting this comment, but I don't think Tim can answer this question in an honest, logical manner.

    Tim, surprise me baby!

I think the way he did it, was take the 12k, put it all on one good trade, double it to 24k, put 24k or close into another good trade, make at least 20 - 100% on that trade, and so on and so on. By the time he got to 100k, he may have started trading with only 50%, but he did mention he went all out most of the time. Many people back in those days were able to gather a fortune this way.

What I would really like to see him do just for fun, and maybe make it a video out of it, is to actually play 50k on one good break out trade that he is 99% sure is a winner. Now I bet everyone would want to see something like that. I bet with the right research he could make 20k+ in a matter of hours.

Charles, it's called compound interest. In his first year, Tim was up approximately 250%. Since he started with $12415, he needs to make 1000000/12415 = 80.54x his principal. At 250%, the equation for how many years this would take is:

    80.45 = 2.5^n. Solving for n, you get 4.78years.

Charles does have a point there. And that guy ( IF it`s true, maybe he can join covertor to prove it ) link ==> http://timothysykes.com/blog/2009/06/25/respond...

Dan said he took 10K ish and over 9 month turn it to 200K ish, IF it true he's a hell lot closer to your million then tim is. I meen it's start in November 2007 adn now we are in july 2009 almost to 2 years. Only 936 682$ to go..... On the other hand WTF do I know !!! I never even came close to you R.O.I. even less manage and H.F.

I'm sorry I'll just STFU and mine my own little stuff.

Tim, at the rate your trading account grows, which IS immpressive, I am wondering how the heck you "made millions" at that rate. Seems it would takes DECADES to get to millions of $'s at your current rate of absolute dollar growth.

    How would explain this?

    Regards,
    Charles
