TIMalert Subscribers Profited Another $3,000+ Yesterday, 10 More Penny Stocks For Today

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Thu 4th of Jun, 2009 12:45:28 PM

The following was sent to TIMalert subscribers at midnight last night:

TIM trading account—now stands at $58,177, down $573 yesterday after I closed out my GROW short and took a quick/safe loss shorting/covering SYMX….still $400ish in June after a 21% gain in May & 373% return in the last 18 months…no overnight positions

Longer Term Account $51,291, down $554 yesterday on my messed up SYMX short…up $1,291 in May (started with $50,000 on May 1), no positions now.

If you haven’t yet already, you only have Thursday and Friday until 6PM EST to take advantage of my webinar deal HERE…yes, the event will be recorded, but you still need to register

Played it extra-safe yesterday as I wasn’t in my usual trading setup and trading on the road stinks!…GROW held support at $8.50, so I covered ASAP and still made $700ish…short SYMX on the afternoon breakdown, but got squeezed a bit and didn’t want to risk it overnight…both GOOD trades risk-reward-wise, neither worked out, didn’t get too bad, lost like $300 combined…key to my success is keeping losses small…TIMalert subscribers still managed to make $3,000+ yesterday, I love it!

OMFG just taken $700 from AGEN in 1.86 out 2.33. THANKS TIM MY BIGGEST GAIN TO DATE. My account stands at $4022, YESSSS your the man!!

Got DVAX at 1.77, but missed the run as i was pulled into an emergency meeting. Goim to hold for a little bit to see if it can break out past 2.00, if it fails i figure i will sell around 1.90 for $185 profit

wooo hooh i shorted ( virtually using a trading simulator) 1k AGEN at 2.92, knew a fade was coming as it tested that 2.90 resistance twice and failed to break it, bought back at 2.76 for a small gain but im playing with 4k simluated dollars lol. Anywho im up 18% in two weeks !

AGEN is why I don’t look forward to shorting surging biotech penny stocks, now up from 70 cents to $3ish in the past few days after positive drug news…let it keep going, aggressive PennyStocking students can and should buy into this, especially if it can take out yesterday high of $3.25ish…of course its dangerous though if volume fades even a bit…this is a definite potential short when the fading pattern inevitably sets in, just like OCLS

GPRE had its first down day to $6, down from a Supernova high of $9 the other day…amazing that I didn’t play this…actually it’s pathetic…oh wait, there’s no shares to short! It happens far too often, but there’s nothing you can do except learn from the pattern and get more brokers for the next pump.

GROW held onto $8.50 from the get go and never really threatened taking it out so I covered at $8.65 near the market open, $700ish gain, to those who held, learn that a.) I usually get out with in the first 15 minutes of the market open because I prefer afternoon price action to less predictable morning stuff and b.) when a stock fails to take out a support/resistance level, I definitely get out because it’s not doing what I expected….the stock finished higher, I don’t care, I was due to the Minyanville pump and proper fading price action which didn’t play out, next!

CHLN & KGN were the stocks pumped by the research-incapable (don’t give me penny stock fundamentals you clowns, you and I both know they are meaningless and can be presented in any way any sleazy newsletter chooses fit…guys, there’s more $ in honesty, trust me, I’m gonna take you over one day and show you the light)…some TIMalert subscribers underestimated the power of Stansberry in CHLN, the stock faded nicely until Stansberry had one of their other “partners” send out more email blasts…wiat for the volume to fade, it’ll inevitably finish in the exact same place as their last pick ARNA did, in the dumpster. Both potential shorts, CHLN especially so since it’s up so much on the pump.

CTIC & HEB were both quiet yesterday on fading volume, even though both finished slightly higher, zzzzzzz, I only play volatile stocks, bring back the volatility and/or some recognizable chart patterns rather than this useless choppiness and I’d get interested in trading them.

FEED & SEED are two struggling-in-real-life-commodity-plays that are surging based on speculation and message board hype…FEED was going great, nearly a double in less than 7 days, before yesterday’s mid-day cliff-jump from $8 to $6.5 before rebounding to $7…this could be a major breakdown signal as these kinds of cliff dives scare momentum buyers away…SEED keeps going, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see similar intraday plummeting (but its stairstepping higher—learn my terminology from my original PennyStocking DVD!) so its got support…both stocks are potential shorts.

SYMX, as I told TIMalert subscribers, I shorted 9000 shares at $1.11ish on the afternoon breakdown of the morning lows since it was the first down day, but got squeezed to $1.20 and didn’t want to risk a giant squeeze…$1,000ish loss puts me breakeven between my 2 accounts now in June…the stock finished back down near its low, but I took a good quick loss in order to avert a huge potential squeeze…I hope to always play it that safe…potential short again today, but not sure how much downside its got now that its already 40 cents/share off its highs and really only has 20 cents/share of downside (poor risk-reward given that its proven it can spike quickly)

ZAGG & CBOU each broke out to new highs, but since neither are truly in play, both breakouts failed/put traders to sleep watching their uselessness…understand guys that these morning watchlists highlight potential plays, that doesn’t mean you ignore the lessons contained in my 36+ hours of instructional DVD content, namely that the best breakouts ramp gradually in the afternoon, not morning spikes that are usually fakeouts! Learnnnn people.
