Live In My Manhattan Apartment For The Summer

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Sun 14th of Jun, 2009 09:00:16 AM

I’ve had a few people ask me about this since my girlfriend and I travel so much, so here are all the details!

We are going away for several weeks during the end of June and all of July & August and are looking to rent out our place for weeks/months at a time!

If you’re interested, CONTACT ME HERE, but know that we live in Tribeca/financial District in a fully furnished 900ish square foot 1-bedroom apartment with a doorman, killer view of the Hudson & Manhattan, amazing rooftop patio (with even better views & BBQ grills!), business center, swimming pool, huge gym (even has yoga, pilates & boot camp classes), courtyard, children’s center (with daycare), dry cleaning and laundry service in the building too.

Our apartment has one bedroom, one bathroom, full functional kitchen with fridge/oven/microwave and queen-sized sleeper couch in the living room, dining room table, nice sized TV with mammoth DVD collection, a substantial business library, high-speed internet & wifi (of course) and Daleela’s very special espresso machine.

Our hood just flat out rocks with our building overlooking the water & the neighborhood park (pet-free!), there’s a bike-friendly running path next to the water that goes all the way up Manhattan, and we’re the only area with reservation-free tennis courts & free kayaking in the Hudson (it’s fun!)…there’s also a little deli/cafe right next door, small grocery store across the street, the single best Whole Foods Market (5 amazing food buffets not just 1 & they have a sit-down sushi bar where we met Mike Myers last week) is a 3-5 minute walk, which is also right beside the Palm restaurant (mmmmm steaks and lobsters), the subway and movie theater.

Restaurants within a 5 minutes walk include Bouley (I ate there yesterday and today because they also have a Bouley Market with cafeteria-style fine dining, seriously, I had really good steak and shrimp for $8, which is unheard of in this city), celebrity-studded Nobu, perfect sushi-Megu, Bubbies (best brunch in NYC), surprisingly good gluten-free pizza/pasta place Pizzabola, sooo many more.

And we’re only a 10 minute walk to Wall Street, Ground Zero & the ferries that go to the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island (how great is Hitch, seriously)…Daleela and I will leave a list of our favorite places for you to check out while you’re here!

In case you don’t know Manhattan, we’re a 30-minute cab ride from any of the airports, there’s every conceivable restaurant, museum, Broadway show, basically anything you can ever want to do, along with some truly beautiful parks & sites everyone should experience at least once in their lives.

I’m gonna give you readers first dibs and even throw in a free instructional DVD of your choice, just CONTACT ME if you’re interested.

The price is $2,500 for 2 weeks or $4,000 for 1 month…it’d be great if you want to stay longer than a month (discount if you do both July & August), we’ll work something out, just CONTACT ME

Must not be doin' too well if you have to rent out your apartment... Just sayin. I'm not gonna follow the lead of a guy who needs to rely on other people to pay his rent..
