This was sent to TIMalert subscribers at 1:45am, no ghost writers, no research helpers, just me and my own stupidity:
LiveStock is today 1-2PM EST and you can tune in HERE, watch me destroy myself over this surprisingly dumb loss.
TIM trading account: $47,838 UP 8% in April, UP 12% in 2009, UP 285% since inception 18 months ago, lost $1640 yesterday due to ego, a lack of discipline and my immature desire to break past $50,000.
I am just so disgusted with myself because no matter how hard I try, I sometimes slip and fall and go back to the ways of an undisciplined beginner trader…it sickens me.
ALNS was StockPreacher’s latest pick, only went from 20 cents to 40 cents…sad, but the promoter has been selling out for big pay days—he got a ton of free trading shares to sell into his own pumping!—boooooring, some TIMalert people made $ buying it quickly, good job:
Just made $275 off of StockPreachers pick. In and out in less than 2 minutes.

DDRX I said be careful shorting after it failed to breakdown, I said buy the breakout if it breaks $8 (initially buying the thing at $4.18—ah, if I only had patience…and then also telling people to buy the $5.50 breakout), but did anybody listen? Not that I can tell…some of you guys are still short this and you deserve your losses because your positions go against basic technical analysis (don’t short stocks breaking out to new highs) and reason (don’t short the strongest stock in a hot industry)…congrats to the few of you who bought and profited, this is not a potential short for me until more of you get squeezed, probly in double digits, if ever.
MDOR the pump and dump, tanked another 14% yesterday, man, I really wish there were shares to short.
BCRX I short sold right near the market open at $3.70 in what is definitely my most undisciplined trader in recent memory, not waiting for fading price action, not waiting until the afternoon, just going for the quick gain to satisfy my ego to get to the $50,000 TIM trading account mark. Pathetic. What’s worse is that I didn’t abide by the rules outlined in my alert to TIMalert subscribers, instead of cutting losses at $3.90-$4, I sat and waited, stubbornly refusing to acknowledge the price action because of my confidence that yesterday it’d tank nicely. Nope, gotta take quick losses and instead as I realized my mistake, I panicked, cutting losses at $4.24, just about the high for the day, loss of $1,640 and wiping out my entire week’s worth of gains. Truly pathetic. I’m going to take this weekend to watch ALL my instructional DVD packages because they outline and detail great trading lessons and plans…this one eventually faded and besides it still being my top potential short—only when the price action is right—some TIMalert subscribers had patience (even though that’s a bad lesson because while I took a solid loss, it wasn’t a killer by any means—still up 9% on the month—and it coulda actually gone much higher) and actually profited, while to all those who lost, I sincerely apologize:
Thanks Tim, Got out of BCRX at 3.62 – for $330 gain. Thanks TIM I held on longer than I should have and it was probably not the disciplined thing to do. But a Win is a Win.

Made 250$ profit on COIN, Made 277$ profit on BCRX(shorted@ 4.21, covered $4.00)
-Thanks

Tim, went short BCRX (after you covered) much more resistance around 4.1-4.15. Unfortunately I left a bit on the table as I could not change my BC limit order- can’t complain though, still took $100 out of it. Made $$$ 3x on BCRX this week! http://chart.ly/akgfwy

Still have some BCRX from 4.20, good thing i got the alert late.

NVAX did what I thought BCRX was gonna do, dropping 14% on the day, fading perfectly, never really threatening to be up more than a few cents/share on the day, finishing right below support at $2.50..this one is a near-certain goner today baring any breaking siwne flu news, potential short…see some TIMalert subscribers baaanked
NVAX niiiiiiiiice! Just covered half my NVAX short at $2.70 and then the rest at $2.50 from my initial $2.91 entry. Made $1200 net profit!!! Total profit from TIMalerts this month $2,600. I end April up 26%, up 34% in 2009, and up a staggering 141% overall. I have just broke the $10k profit mark since staring to trade pennystocks!

SVA spiked nearly 50 cents/share higher from the $2.50 inflection point after failing to take it out with any confidence…this is how potential short plays become potential buys, trades go both ways ya know…it later faded in the day so the weak shorts got out, still a potential short, but it’s gonna be tough and probly slow to take out $2.50 so I probly won’t play it…I love that some TIMalert subscribers are learning how a buy to cover or a good setup like this can actually mean it’s a buy alerts and the stock has better upside than downside potential:
i saw your last nights email how you covered SVA because you thought their would be short squeeze and bought SVA @ 2.50 this morning and just sold @ 2.80 netting $310 gain
-Mike M.
bought 1000 of SVA @ 2.50 this morning on your suggestion that it would squeeze sold at 2.85 netted $336 after commission

SQNM I could care less about buying or shorting, it’s a breaking news play, I don’t care if it jumped 28382383% or was down 99%, I don’t try to guess others’ reactions to FDA news. Congrats to those who profited, not my style at all:
SQNM
+294 on SQNM – $3.71 – $3.88 since i made that post – too scary for me..
EVII is the coordinated stock promotion stock, now nearly a double off its $1ish lows in a few very manipulative days…potential short, volume is fading, the promoters can’t keep this carcass up forever.
