$14,000+ In Trading Gains Yesterday & 9 More Popular Penny Stocks To Trade

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Fri 29th of May, 2009 11:40:40 AM

This was sent to TIMalert subscribers at 11:30pmish EST so they could prepare for the trading day ahead:

LiveStock is today 1-2PM EST, tune in HERE!

TIM trading account—now stands at $57,263 +$9,385, aka 20% gain in May, my 900 shares of USCN short earned me $100, but I missed covering into the morning drop of 60%!!!! Grrr, good news is I made $750+ buying the CBOU breakout…now I’m up nicely in May and a total 360% in the last 18 months

Longer Term Account $51,291, up $1,291 in May (started with $50,000 on May 1), no positions

TIMalert subscribers baaaaanked again yesterday, $14,000+ in profits yesterday, we’re definitely on a winning streak, but the key is not to think about it, just take it one solid trading opportunity at a time.

First Tim trade, MAPP, in 8.95 out 9.95 x 100 shares, $75 profit after commissions. KICK ASS!
-Josh M.

Out OCLS 2100 shares (half in premarket and half in the morning spike) at 4.59 average. Profit $2826. I don’t remember who show this pick (Adam?), but i want to say Thank You to all TIM’s community. It’s unbelievable. I’m more than +50% from joining here few weeks ago :)
-Duzas

Hi Tim, I’m just a rookie. I just got in trading a month ago. I learned something about looking at the charts. I saw MAPP chart was one time at $11.03 before the drop. So I figure if it passes the Resistance then it would shoot up more. I was in at $11.05 and out at $13.50, profited $2850. Thanks for the call.
-Tyler

Out KERX +100ish, I chased it and it seems determined to not go through 0.62 so I’ll take what I got.
-Tim Bohen

how do i send a testimonial to Tim? I am new to TIMalerts and banked huge on MAPP and would like to thank you guys for the awesome service you provide. Thank you again for your excellent customer service. Have a great day! a cool $1030 profit after commissions!!!!

Got in yesterday late at $3.28 and out of OCLS mid-morning at $5.10 for a whooping $3300 profit. Thanks.

CBOU I’m long and strong 2,000 shares at $6.40, perfect, perfect breakouts, I love that some people are looking to short, they don’t understand what a high volume technical breakout, no matter how many posts like THIS I do

OCLS kept spiking, now up $1 to $5…totally absurd, but biotech penny stocks are hot…volume is fading, this is gonna be a great short once it rolls over, I hope it can still squeeze some shorts to open up some shares to actually short! Definitely a potential short if and when it cracks below $4.50 intraday support…my guess is it cracks $1+/share pretty quickly considering this runup is total BS.

MAPP spiked $1/share to $13ish, zzzzzzz, I had my chance to buy and hold for 1 day, made $800, but screwed it up, TIMalert subscribers have now made $40,000+ on this one, congrats, I see no play now.

USCN is the pump I’ve still got 900 shares short, it dropped from 80 cents to 3 cents before 10am, but I missed my cover as I was filming with TheStreet.com, sad, but I think it’ll come back down eventually for a nice gain. This is a gimme, easy few hundred dollars—don’t be mad if you can’t find share, just learn for the next time

ANPI is the other hot FDA news play, up from $1 to $2, good for some TIMalert subscribers who bought for the continuation rally, but now it’s more of a short as volume and penny stock FDA penny stock momentum ides off just like OCLS..it’d be great if this was a multi-day runup, but these companies are so bad, odds favor shorting on proper fading action.

JVA was good for a morning drop short, but that’s about it, it’s tough to short a stock in a hot sector when it’s already down 20% off its high, just like CBOU a few weeks ago…

EXEL had seemingly big drug news but the stock only went from $4.5 to $6, finishing in the mid-$5s, zzzzzzzzzzz, boring company, boring stock, next!

SEED was a potential short, but it barely budged yesterday after dropping 20% the day before, zzzzzzz, potential short still, my guess is it fades gradually over the next few days, but only downside of 50 cents/share.

TEN might’ve bottomed in the $6 range, consolidating from its recent runup, potential buy now if it can breakout past $7…yes, the momentum swings both ways.

If CBOU breaks the 6.30 mark I'm looking to short. Should freefall to 5.40 by Monday or Tuesday.
