You now have 7 days left to submit applications for my annual Tulane scholarship that is special because it’s not only open to Tulane students and faculty, but alumni as well…
See THIS detailed post to see how to apply and to learn about it in depth, but understand that my annual award–which is usually $750, this year’s it’s $500 apparently because the Tulane endowment fund hasn’t done very well–simply requires you to write a 1-2 page essay detailing why a bit of cash will help give you more confidence in whatever you’re passionate about.
Previous winners have included a Hollywood special effects guy, a sculptor, a karate teacher, an environmentalist…it’s ironic that no business or finance person has yet to win, but if you’ve been reading my blog for any extended period of time, you know just how weird most finance/businesspeople are so writing a 1-2 page essay for others to judge seems scary (you friggin babies!)
Anyway, if you’re one of the Tulane people or if you know somebody who went/goes to Tulane, tell em about my award…so far we only have a few applicants this year so the odds of winning are pretty good!
Remember THIS post has all the details, this is just a reminder post so you know the deadline this year is April 17th!
