Perhaps, I have been too harsh. I ought to congratulate a fellow young guy for using the capitalist system to his advantage. There is no denying though, if you were actually confident in your day-trading abilities that you would start your own 50-200MM fund.

Sure you can only have a few wealthy investors, but you can set up a trust and get lots of little contributions into an LP (peons that want to invest $10K with you) and have that LP in a fund.

I have lots of friends at hedge funds, there are ways to get around being too big to move markets, and the number of investors (i'm sure you know this.) You can't admit you couldn't handle it, so you decide to sell your bullshit advice.

If I were allowed to trade stocks (I can't trade the industry I cover, because my opinion moves the market), I'd own you. It sucks knowing what will happen tommorow with a particular security and not being able to act on it.

P.S. The best comment was "...I only lost 35% due to an illiquid position". Lol.

His strategy isn't scalable to hedge fund proportions. Kinda something he found out the hard way.

How bout lets compare what Tim sells to any other trading "educational" products out there? Can you name anything that is any good? There are plenty of stuff being hawked for thousands of dollars and is just as questionable whether it can help anyone.

Every time I try to search for alternatives I find instant money making schemes galore that don't even come close to being as open about what they offer as Tim's site has.

One alternative is Investor's Ungerground which can give a lot of credit to Tim for breaking ground on being able to monetize what they offer.

Basically what I am saying is there is so much utter garbage and fraud out there waaay worse than anything Tim has tried to sell I find it funny that so many choose to stop at Tim's site and bitch about it.

First, let me start off by saying I respect you for answering my prior post.

I did my research. For your information I research public stocks for a living, at 24 I made close to half a million last year (before tax unfortunately). Honestly.

Your fund DID go bust. When you are tied into an illiquid position just bending over and taking losses, your investors give their 30 days and bail. Nothing to be ashamed of, there are 9000 hedge funds out there with an average life of four years. (You were about average. It's ok.)

What I cannot understand is how you lower yourself to the standards of informercials. Just sucking blood out of desperate idiots. I command you, however, for 'selling ice to the eskimos'.

Superior strategy? If you had a "superior strategy", you would shut your mouth open up a fund, charge 3 and 20, and be a multi-millionare (billionare?).
