Made about $30 yesterday, took quick profits on DDRX, quick loss (due to commissions) on SVA, 100% cash

Wacky day yesterday was, no big gains, protected myself against potential big losses…not every day is gonna be a huge winner, sometimes playing defense is the best offense

No video watchlist again today because I hate all video program and websites equally…why is there no service out there that will let me embed high quality videos onto a password-protected site…yes, it’s commercial you dumb dumb websites that say “only personal videos”, the dumb dumb corporate websites that either cost more than I make in a year and the ones that take 9 hours, yes, 9 hours to render a 5 minute video…I will have the solution by this weekend, it’s going live on Monday…or Tuesday next week! (any video site suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Smugug rocks, but not for embedding videos

SVA I wussied out on an overnight short form the day before but when I saw swine flu stocks crashing 20% each in the early morning yesterday, I reshorted this one right as it took out key support at $2.50…I was up 10 cents/share most of the day on that short position, but swine flu stocks squeezed shorts late day so I played it safe, as you’ll see me do time and again, covering right at $2.50…disappointing, but taking the $20 loss due to commissions was right for me because the price action led me to believe there were reasonably high odds these things will spike today (I’d say 50/50 chance)…probable downside of 30 cents/share or so, but if a big squeeze or breaking news happens, risk of losing $1/share…not good odds…so I left and I show other TIMalert subscriber losses (peeps who shorted initially with me actually made decent $) because small losses are gooooood defense, I’m not embarrassed at all, welcome to successful trading:

BCRX was an awesome short for the first 30 minute yesterday–$3.90 down to $3.30—then the rest of the day it gradually uptrended…this was just the 1st down day so odds are it heads lower, but again methinks the price action says the risk is too great, too many shorts in this, potential squeeze…potential buy or short depending on the pattern that plays out…definitely favoring a potential short, but to take out support at $3.30 means the stock will already be down 15%, tough to drop much more in one day…annoying, but I gotta respect the pattern. TIMalert lifetime subscriber (seriously check it out HERE) made some $ by being fast and experienced.

MNTG is a sketchy gambling company, up from $1.25 to $2 in 2 days, horrific longterm chart, every spike has been a good short, why should this time be any different…I’d love to see more shorts get squeezed first so I can have a good short entry and get some more downside potential

DDRX didn’t panic or fade the way I wanted, so I got out at 6.90 right near the market open for a small $100 gain…boring yes, but whether I had a small profit or loss, it didn’t matter, the key is to protect against big swings against my position when things don’t pan out the way I expected…so I got out quick, as did many others…those who stuck around, got squeezed for 75+ cents/share…should be strong today (potential breakout buy at $8, yup!) due to competitor GMCR’s strong overnight earnings…PEET and CBOU should also be strong…see how TIMalert subscribers took either solid gains (no one right entry price, it’s the pattern people!) or small losses:

COIN had a classic morning spike (as outlined in my PennyStocking Part Deux DVD package which despite being my best package, has the lowest sales, probly due to my immature naming of the product (when you make as much $ and get as many daily testimonials as I do, well, yeah, I shoulda woulda coulda named it better and prey on people’s greed like Cramer…potential names were “Watch Your Computer Screen & Get Rich!” and “Sane Daily Profits In An Insane Finance World!”) and then retreated all day (but only by 30 cents…not worth the time for this imperfect trader)…great to buy into penny stocks breaking out right near the open backed by strong fundamental news, some DVD students profited because THEY HAVE LEARNED THE PATTERN AND PROFITED FROM IT:

EVII keeps going, up from $1 to $2, not because StockPreacher’s research is any good, it’s due to a coordinated promotion by several stock promoters…genius boys, genius, I love that you’re back in the game! Don’t worry I won’t short sell into you—I can’t find any shares obviously because you guys did a bang up job picking a stock that is locked downnnn (seriously good job!!!) But wait Interactive Broekrs currently has 1,000 shares to short…woo hoo!

HRZ is trying again to breakout of a multi-month uggggly chart formation…the fact that it’s still near its lows after such a market runup doesn’t bode well for this breakout..potental buy or short depending on how this pattern plays out

MJNA is the old CVIV medical marijuana stock, they did a reverse split and now have surged from 20 cents to 60 cents in 2 days ( it was trading for a pre-split 10 cents when I originally featured it HERE)….strong intraday uptrends except for yesterday afternoon when the volume fell off and it stopped going up, this is a potential short, I’d love to get in above $1, if possible, so c’mon potheads, invest in your hobby! You dummies, this company has scum written all over it, I don’t care how high (hehe) the stock goes.

MDOR is a promoted stock with sadly few shares to short…tanked niiiicely from $1.80 to $1.10 inside of an hour when the pump ended and the dump began…some people think TIMalerts causes those kinds of drops, nope, that’s how pump and dumps die! Next!

SCOM is an illiquid OTCBB stock that just reported very nice earnings, its now jumped from $3.5 to $5…let it keep going, DDRX-style, but without all that potential, okay, oaky, potential buy, but really dangerous since its so illiquid.
