Because Joaquin Phoenix being stoned, drunk, out of it and/or just plain weird is seriously classic stuff.
How does it relate to finance you ask?
Well, imagine if any hedge fund manager, mutual fund manager, ANALyst, ANYBODY in this entire joke of an industry flipped out out national TV in an ‘I’m mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore” kind of way….maybe that might get people excited to change some of the BS SHIT that we have to put up with each and every day, not just the SHIT that makes our country poor, but the stuff that bores our youths away from ever being interested…
I’m talking about crap like people in this industry not being able to use social networks like Twitter (follow me HERE you cubicle monkeys), fund managers not being able to share their track records (look at mine you slaves!)…somebody please go a little Joaquin just one time and help us get out of the dark ages! (and not in the Cramer sense because he’s already a known-clown…I’m talking about someone we least expect…in true Joaquin Phoenix-style)
