UPDATE: Remember LiveStock is live tomorrow 1-2PM EST right HERE

The pattern is called the morning panic and I detail it extensively on my PennyStocking Part Deux instructional trading DVD:

Notice I only show the first few minute after the market open of each because I don’t care what happens after the big drop, I already cover because everything else is not predictable. When I short a stock, I usually only aim for one pattern–either the morning panic or the afternoon fade–to take place, I don’t lower my odds by sticking around afterwards–whether I was right in my call or not.

As TIMalert subscribers know I shorted 2000 shares of ANDS at $6.80 and covered at $6.42 for a gain of $700+ within a few minutes (covered so quick because lots of support at $6.30 and it’s an uptrending chart aka get out quickly when shorting!).

It happened so fast, the thing cracked big even before I could send out an alert so the only people who made money were those who saw my post on the TIMalerts.com subscribers-only website about it being a potential overnight short the day before and shorted before the market close. Several TIMalert subscribers did that successfully:

Shorted @ 6.90 before the close, covered @ 6.70 on the bounce after the morning panic. +$670 -E.

Tim, on your alerts I shorted ANDS at 6.90
I see your reasoning for a market bounce, but I was planning to cover into the morning panic ~6.30 ish. Ofcourse if it gaps up or breaks through 7, I will cover my losses early as taught by you. -dseo80 (PERFECT THINKING!!!!)

shorted 6.9 yesterday too.. -Kelvin

Shorted 2/24 100 ANDS @ 7.43, short 145 ANDS @ 6.81. Coverered all @ 6.59.
Followed 2/24 TIMalert…. thanks -DJ

crap just missed ANDS … had my order all prepared, but didn’t click it in time. -Reaper

Had to be quick on the ANDS cover because after the predictable stop losses, the stock bounced (irrelevant to my strategy). ZN was an even better morning panic–that did stick-dropping all the way to $10 before noon, yes a drop of 40%, aka look at ITS BEAUTIFUL 10-DAY CHART…that runup was the caused by hype/manipulation, but unfortunately nobody had ANY shares of ZN to short.

So, good job on ANDS guys and my apologies to those who mistakenly believe they don’t need to learn my strategy beforehand, morning panics are fully predictable, but you must learn the variables that align to create them, namely how hype/manipulation works, stop losses and the incredible lack of intelligence mixed in with gullibility in the penny stock niche.

I had shares of ZN to short-one day early. Got stopped out one day before the big drop. Very small loss.
  • as evidenced by my line in the post "nobody had ANY shares of ZN to short." which doesnt lessen the power of the pattern one bit, just a waiting game until he next one comes along and u're either prepared for it or not

there were no shares of ZN to short....
  • Everytime I see a stock I might want to short, I can never get shares. Ugh. Etrade sucks for shorting, plus I don't think you can do anything that is below 3.00 per share.
