Since I get emails like this all the time:
be my mentor.
take me under your wing.
I’m young.
I’m not greedy.
I’m not power hungry.
And money will never rule my life.
I’d be good because of those reasons.
but I’ve recently found out stock sparks my interest to i want to do it.
I don’t want to buy your stupid videos.
I’m a hands on kind of guy.
i live in WA.
17, and was supposed to graduate last year but didn’t know what i wanted to do with my life so now im stuck making up two credits and will be done in June.
I wanna learn.
I want to do something i know i might be good at.
…I thought I’d respond once and for all (or until this blog post disappears off my homepage and lazy people refuse to use the “next” button)
1. I’ve got hundreds, literally hundreds of people that want me to “mentor” them…I’ve got little to no time as I’ve got a growing blogging/DVD/subscription business to manage
2. I am willing to teach anyone and everyone, through one-on-one coaching sessions, seminars and instructional DVDs, but until you buy/attend one of those, you haven’t proven that you really want to learn…more like you’re looking for handouts. And that’s not cool. Because if you can’t afford a few hundred or a few thousand dollars in tuition fees–which not only serve to help you with the the basics, but provide a groundwork from which we can build–you don’t have the $ or dedication to really learn this game. Next!
3. I have neither the time nor the inclination to waste time on people who just want stock picks rather than learn what goes into each pick, I’d rather you just picked up my DVDs–which detail EVERYTHING–and said thank you and went on your way (I knwo I’m repeating myself, but I just had to use that line, does anyone know what it’s from?)
3. I am willing to barter, I have several interns who do various tasks–like free business cards or translating my blog posts into Chinese for our upcoming Chinese site–in exchange for lessons.
4. It’s good to start early and it’s good to not let $ rule your life…that is the correct way to think so good job on that.
