To be fair, this one kinda sucked. even though I made $600+ on it, the stock didn’t breakdown like I’d hoped–probly cuz I missed my ideal entry of a morning fade as I fully admit, rubbed in by several people who have my PennyStocking DVD and one who I just did a one-on-one coaching session with (Douglas)…
Here are the alerts/testimonials/chart:
Yesterday early afternoon:
Shorted 4000 SAH at $2.75…normally i don’t liek shorting stocks down 14% ont he day already because there’s the potential for a bounce, but it is off its lows of being down 25%, this probly is the bounce…first down day in the pattern, up from $1.50…me thinks it retests minor support at $2.30…question is will it break it, I don’t know, that’ll still be a good profit for me if it drops that much…very liquid so since i already missed the first big drop at $3–working on shipping the new ShortStocking DVDs–i’ll be quick to take my losses if this thing starts spiking…after all, it’s in the overall market’s hands right now…which is fine by me considering this kind of quick drop leads me to believe we’ll retests the lows tomorrow since we’ve sucked in a lot of scared/fickle dip buyers.
2 hours later:
covered 4000 SAH at $2.58 not because I don’t think it’s going lower (although it is already down big today and tomorrow is a new day), I’d say the odds are fairly good, but because I just found out I’m gonna be on national TV tomorrow morning and I can’t be trying to trade with all that going on…this stock is acting nicely, holding near its lows, but a trader has to realize when real life gets in the way and just take profits/losses quickly…my $660 profit in 2 hours is nice but disappointing…life could be worse…I’ve got a conference call later this afternoon with producers for all the details, and I’ll let you know in tomorrow morn’s wstchlist, which might have to come out very very very early…we’ll see
So the national TV thing is gonna be next week, but since the stock is strong today–not painful for any intelligent subscriber, just gotta cover ASAP if it doesn’t show morning panic (just as I preach in my DVDs, I mention them again and again because soooooo many subscribers are trying to play the game without learning the rules first!)–I’m glad it helped get me out of this trade…also helping was how well it was holding up in the $2.50s–I really wanted a close under $2.50.
Not an ideal setup, not an ideal trade. Good lesson learned.
But you must understand that it was a perfect drop from $3 in the morning and many TIMalert subscribers banked not because I sent out an alert but because they anticipated!! Imagine that, subscribers who actually learn/get smart…woooooah, that’s a dangerously revolutionary concept:
Tim,
