To Those Who Still Don’t Understand My Strategy That’s Up 209% Since Last November: 7 Tidbits

Posted by Timothy Sykes on Sat 29th of Nov, 2008 10:04:34 AM

1. I do buy stocks, but only when they’re breaking out…slim to none in this market environment.

2. Of course you can short stocks under $5, the brokers that say you can’t just suck…namely Scottrade…I use and recommend Thinkorswim…Interactive Brokers & SpeedTrader are also ideal for PennyStocking.

3. I don’t know nor do I care where the market goes, I stay fully liquid and take it one pump at a time.

4. I do believe the vast majority of small companies, those who run them, cover them or invest in them, to be complete morons. This is base don years and years of experience and research. Anybody with the slightest bit of brainpower has a competitive advantage down here in the gutter. It’s like playing basketball against midgets, mental midgets.

5. As much as I rip on the deceit and manipulation, I love these scummy bastards, without their incompetence, ignorance and pennant for trying to make big $ illegally, it wouldn’t be so easy for me to make small money legally.

6. I have no expectations as to profits (no matter that I’m up 209% in the last year), I try to think each trade as my last trade…that way I wait until the very last second when all the variables are perfect–so as to maximize my odds of success.

7. If you people have any questions whatsoever, understand my biz model makes me extremely pressed for time so I’ve created several multi-hour instructional DVDs to answer just about anything you can think of. I highly recommend you watch them before risking single penny in penny stocks as throwing money around blindly is just dangerous–this niche has many subtleties to it…the more you know!

  • i use and recommend thinkorswim for all shorting
  • Scottrade is fine for standard investors... Tim, can you get to my question and recommend a broker for shorting on small-volume trades?
  • alex
And what about Zecco? do they have penny stocks available to short? Ironically, there's a Zecco ad on this page but nobody aas mentioned them.

maybe I'll go with IB then. I won't be leaving Fidelity cuz i really like their active trader platform and their customer service is excellent. I tried the TOS software and i thought it was horrendous compared to fidelity. So I'll keep a Fidelity account for charting and research and I'll just open the other one to trade penny stocks and forex.
  • scottrade sucks!

im sure its 3500 min for T or swim also any info on tax payments and how u pay /yearly monthly what pesentage waynoh from the uk.
  • They just have to check IDs first TNF - make sure ur not trading under the influence
  • Tim,
I'm currently a student under the age of 21 and I know that Scottrade wouldn't let me short stocks citing "inexperience." I know what I'm doing, so that's not at all a problem... but where can I go (if anywhere) that I can short with my account?

Alex at TOS you need to get in early to reserve shares at like 6am CST. I got sick of waking up so early and wasting my time when they would not have shares half the time I went to Interactive Brokers no reserving there they either have shares or do not have them, but you need a min of 10 000 to open an account there. Do not know anything about speedtrader. Bottom line you need to get rid of fidelity.

I ordered about 10 days ago, but how can you give a special incentive now....especially when we still dont have the dvds either? Whatever, just thought you would offer to all who ordered to this point.

Tim, I'm going to set up a think or swim account for next year in order to get in on some penny stock shorting fun...maybe some forex too. What time do you normally need to reserve shares in the morning? I think you've said that you need to be pretty early for this. Anyone else know about the other brokers mentioned?
Currently I trade only with a fidelity account, which is not ideal for penny stocks (high commisions and no shorts). And as a challenge I'd like to see how long it will take to turn the minimum amount (i think it's $3500 for think or swim) into $1M.
  • when did u order, the offer is only valid these 4 days

Tim, I ordered your Pennystocking Part Deux DVD and saw that you are offering a free month of Timalerts. How do we get it? I am a Timalert member of course.
