That's a nice vacation. That's more money for my kids to go to college. Thats being able to provide that little extra for me to spend time with my family doing things we wouldn't otherwise afford. Yeah it's a pretty simple strategy and one that is hard to make a living off of all on its own unless you have a sizable account in the first place. I, like so many other people, can't afford to quit my dayjob to trade full time. So trading part time hoping to make just a couple thousand extra a year is a big deal. It's funny that you say its an easy strategy in this market but actually things have kinda been slower since the market took a nosedive. I have basically been spending the bare minimum of Tim's products and have learned an enormous about just paying attention to so many of the blog posts. There is so much valuable content on the free site alone. Someday I will probably pick up one or more of the DVDs but after just having a second child there are a few other more important things I need to devote my spending money on. I can imagine it is very easy to think a couple thousand is chump change if you already make a lot of money but I'm not as fortunate yet and I work around hundreds of people daily that just a couple extra thousand would make a real difference and only know personally a dozen or so people that make enough that they probably wouldn't bother.
