LiveStock Tomorrow & The Latest TIMalerts Winner: A-Power Energy Generation Systems, Ltd. (APWR)

Oh yes, LiveStock returns tomorrow and I’ve got a trade going right now so chances are it’ll still be on tomorrow…only TIMalert members know what that trade is…

Anyway, another TIMalerts pick from the other day was a winner, APWR, which I shorted yesterday at $5.54 because as my TIMalert said:

…not an ideal play by any means, but this is an alternative energy company–wind power–which is basically screwed if oil keeps dropping like it has…i love the overall market’s trend–seemingly probable retest of last week’s lows…oil taking out the key $70 support, the intraday breakdown (took out morning lows) on APWR and the fact that today is its first down day after several green days..only reason I didn’t go full in with 2,000 shares is because its already $1 off its recent highs and has some support at $5.40…other than that, I’m aiming to buy to cover the stock back under $5, preferably in the $4.60 range (where there’s more support)

…was looking good until the last 30 minutes of the trading day when the whole market spiked back–I risked it, played the odds today would be another down day for the markets, was right at the open and took advantage of a premakret order at $5.48…made like $60.

More importantly, the stock did end up taking out yesterday’s low at $5.36 and went all the way down to $5.11 in the morning before being choppy in the lows throughout the day…a decent 8% gain if anyone had more patience than tiny TIM…the TIMalerts website is down on the day (will be resolved shortly) for most or else there’d be more testimonials, but here’s the latest bunch:

I shorted 2000 shares of APWR at $5.45 and covered at $5.39 when it failed to fall below $5.36 as the market tanked it seems this consolidated between 5.38 and 5.45 so i covered for a $120 profit

Shorted 2000 APWR 5.52, bought 2000 APWR 5.29 $546 net profit

I sorta wimped out too but at least I made $75
-NG

I held on down to $5.30 - gained 4% for $135 profit

  1. Add my $380 in profit to the mix on APWR. Crappy % gain, but I had a decent position. BTW, nice cover at the high on RBCAA today. Nice to see you do that for once and not me. :)

  2. Since “Citron” seems to know what they are talking about…and if they do have a good following…this was probably the perfect recipe for a sell-off tomorrow. Just a news-based selloff….late day news is great as it usually doesn’t get fully disseminated until the next morning. So maybe not such a bad trade after all.

  3. Same here on AWPR, haven’t been shortin for awhile, but with my little position I was able to get $45 profit. Just getting my feet wet again in shorting.. lol

  4. $300 on APWR while waiting for the cable guy (3 trades total, 1000 shares), $223 on RBCAA w\ 200 shares, (fortunately I got your alert a little late and managed to jump in right after the squeeze). I covered at COB, but Judging by AH, this one will prolly gap down tomorrow. Good day, thanks Tim!

  5. We only see positive testimonials, and Tim claims all the credit.
What about those who followed his trades but lose money?
Tim might say they didn’t buy his DVD or didn’t follow his rules and guidelines or they are new and didn’t know what they are doing or blame the email/alert system, so he is not to blame.
With enough subscribers, you can always count on getting some positive testimonials to further market your product, though the product only really benefits a small portion of the consumers.

  6. retard,

The thing is is that tim really cant get results other than what you see - he just doesnt know how… positive testimonials are really the majority of what comes to him.

  7. YO TIM I have a question… how did you know to short TIBB when it crossed its 52dma and ppl were BULLISH on it?!?!?!

  8. Zach, TIBB wa good short because the increas was to steep, and the reverse was fast, typical tim pattern, in top of that , bounced back from resistance, you have to put the 52 wk crossing in context. Lots of SUpernovas will cross it before becoming shortable.

  9. LOL @ TimothySykesExposed. I just started trading stocks about a month ago - had NO clue what I was doing. Didn’t even know how to short a stock and I have made money from TimAlerts. I am proof that his methods work. Sure, it’s not very scalable but it WORKS. Now get the FUK out of here. I hope your spammy site gets shut down.

  10. c’mon, tim, calling this a winner and devoting a whole post to it is rather pathetic. the old tim would never stoop to this, girlfriend has stolen your balls

own up to a crappy boredom trade

  11. when subscribers bank, the stock acts the basic way i thought it would, its a win, end of story
