Crazy day of trading, mainly cuz the main stocks I was watching SIL and QCOR, both hit the key points I was looking for so I took the appropriate action, shorting 2000 SIL at $2.98 when it took out support at $3 right near the market open (was gonna beat the crowd at $3.05, give TIMalert subscribers a head start, but Safari sucks and shuts down randomly, grrrrr)—as I alerted TIMalert members, I was trying to profit from a fully predictable morning panic (stop losses are a bitch when a stock is up 400% in a few days), after preparing them in the premarket watchlist I also sent them—and buying 1,000 shares of QCOR at $6.98 after it showed me it could convincingly breakout above $6.85ish area—the area at which I’ve been posting for several days was the true beakout point…
QCOR failed to do much so I sold my shares for a $50 gain…stock is still holding up above breakout, but it’s really boring and I don’t care to waste my day away for a lousy potential $300 or $400—after all, I’m up $2,200 in 2 days and up to my eyes in emails and Pennystocking DVD and ShortStocking DVD orders. Gotta know how to manage your time as a trader. Maybe QCOR will do something more tomorrow, I don’t know, I like quick moves and this one drives like Morgan Freeman in Driving Miss Daisy…
And the SIL breakdown was a quick, like I like, within 5 minutes, I covered at $2.65 into a beautifully liquid breakdown, didn’t have to cover so quickly, taking out key support is longterm (1-2 days) bearish, stock hanging around $2.50 all day..still pretty satisfied with an extra $600 profit from this one…obviously coulda woulda shoulda just held from my initial short at $4 and woulda made $3k, but I made $2k my way…do whatever works for you.
And my strategy is working for me–now up 15% on the month, up to $28,900, or 133% in the last 11 months, and that’s not even as important as how my TIMalert subscribers are doing, see the awesome testimonials below that only add to yesterday’s few dozen or so:
