Waaaay behind on putting all the new sites/educational posts up for next week…oh yeah new chatroom for TIMalerts subscribers-only website TIMalerts.com website too (not the cool web app me and Pallian are working on, that takes time, this is just gonna be a basic chatroom where I can chat with my TIMalert peeps in real-time throughout the trading day…yeahhh now you gotta join, suck it up you already cheap Jews!) so here’s the basic summary for a ton of COIN alerts from last week:
When the stock went from $3.5 to $6.5 on fluffy PRs, as is sketchy COIN-company habit, I was trying to short the top and go for a 10-20% reversal (usually want more but this company is so bad with soooo many bitter shareholders/bag holders, it didn’t go up enough to get me really excited)…first TIMalert went out at $6.30…stock went down to $6 intraday, which was slightly negative–a a great sign–but it wasn’t the afternoon yet, so it turned out to be a fakeout, I covered at $6.50ish for a small loss (safety first, gotta protect against potential next day spike, still profited a bit on my COINW short)–total loss of like $175, boo hoo, not bad at all, those of you who read my book An American Hedge Fund know it’s tough to pick the exact top and my greatest gains come after my greatest losses.
Next day, it was done for from the get go so I reshorted at $6.20, not COINW too this time cuz I was traveling all day to a TV interview (video will be up soon)…it went red and stayed red, I covered at $5.70, not cuz I thought the stock was going higher, but you gotta take solid profits when you’re traveling and not aim for perfect exits….made $700+, so like $500 total on this bouncy stock…
Stock went lower to $5.40ish same day, $5.10ish the next morning, so it was a 15%ish winner from my TIMalert and then it bounced again as is Friday short squeeze habit as I detail in my PennyStocking DVD.
